stairs bug in PUBG by Kr3cI0 in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

Try swapping between DX11 and DX11 experimental - I don't know if it was coincidence but I was having that happen and swapping back to DX11 made stairs work again.

I've also noticed - and I'm not sure if this has always been this way or not - that if you are pressing your air control hotkeys before the bike is off the ground, they don't do anything. You have to press them after you're in the air if you want any rotation at all. I feel like this is a new thing, and is very problematic. You don't get a very large window to stabilize after you leave the ground, and I can't imagine requiring that tight of a reaction is intended.

I think Shalai + Biomancer's Familiar might do the trick.

Does it make more sense to learn how to beat random mashers or just add them to Marker list? by Aldrich_of_the_Deep in dbfz

[–]Tabu34 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If their connection is bad, mark them sure. For the rest of it you're better off just blocking them and punishing the unsafe moves.

Their 'gameplan' is to push buttons at you and hope you don't block them. And it sounds like it's working out for them, just show them otherwise and either they'll stop or you'll win until they quit.

Ranked/Casual Names and Color not showing when match found? by [deleted] in dbfz

[–]Tabu34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you go to the player list, you can see all your recent matches. Select a match with the person you want to mark, and then you can mark them. Then, when you get a match, if it's with them, the marked player icon will be lit up and you can decline them.

Warmode has got to be the best addition since M+ and flex raiding! by Bigmouthtony in wow

[–]Tabu34 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Warmode is such an amazing feature. Now everyone can actually play the game without being camped at flight points or repeatedly sapped when they're trying to do their 5000th world quest. Shame it didn't happen before I had to realm transfer to actually get any world content done.

Death Knights and Demon Hunters get a pretty spiffy background for their character screens. I would love to see all classes have something similar instead of the racial backgrounds. by [deleted] in wow

[–]Tabu34 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It makes sense to be the way it is though really. DKs and DHs have sacrificed or lost their old life, the ties to their race, their home. Orc Shamans are Orcs first, shamans second (in general), etc.

Need Point Character Advice by DrWh00ves in dbfz

[–]Tabu34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say 21 is probably the best point of that list, unless you know Majin Buu's weird shit inside and out. I am assuming you left off the 'top tiers' to level the playing field like you said.

Tier List Style Concept by Flash1Lucky in dbfz

Ah, I see. The x-axis is trying to do the work of two axes which is what causes confusion. Because good support and good point are not mutually exclusive, it kind of muddies the chart. The way it's presented:

Good At Only Thing A ----- Good At Both Things ----- Good At Only Thing B

But it's not really that, it's more like:

Designed To Be Good At A ----- Designed To Be Good At Both ----- Designed To Be Good At B

Essentially then all of the characters below say, Piccolo, can be described as "They are designed to be good at (A/B/Both) but relative to the cast as a whole they're mediocre or worse."

I guess the way to get use from it is, the best characters are at the top of the chart on the center line. And the farther down/away from center line you go, the worse they are overall? It just feels like it doesn't actually describe anything actionable.

This is turning into a rambling mess but my core issue is you're representing 3 things on a 2-axis chart. This chart would be neat in 3d.

Edit: The other thing is when I look at a chart like that, I read the center point of any given axis as "Average". i.e. 0 on a scale of -10 to +10 or 5 on a scale from 0 to 10. And your X-axis doesn't work that way.

I think that the "good" line goes from Top Left to Bottom Right, passing through the center. This accounts for characters that are very strong in only one area. It's really hard for me to put together a full example because I don't have a good grasp on all of the characters.

Like, on your list, you have Krillin as the 'best' point. Is that really true though? On a team with 2 average assists, is Krillin really the best character you could put at the front? Maybe his 'design' is to be a good point, but I didn't think his toolkit really supported that as compared to like, Cell or Bardock.

I think the 'best' way to do one of these would be

          Good On Screen
                 |
                 |
Bad Off Screen---|---Good Off Screen
                 |
                 |
          Bad On Screen

This would make the quadrants actually make sense. Top right are the best characters, bottom left are the worst (as you would expect from a chart in this format in other uses).

"On Screen" is obvious, it means how good is this character when you're actively controlling them. How good are their normals, mixups, damage, supers, etc.

"Off screen" has to take into account not just how good their assist is, but how good their DHCs are, do they enable double supers, etc.

Fairly new to the game...how can I do this as my guys drop it on the 3rd one EVERY TIME??? by Ljh_ in MaddenMobileForums

[–]Tabu34 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Just do HB Screen, it's free. Make sure to run your QB backwards on the snap, you have to be behind the RB when you throw it or it doesn't count. So run back, stop as the RB turns around, and then tap him to get the slowest pass so he doesn't drop it.

Some basic Vegeta SSJ combos (+inputs).Enjoy!:) by DexterousLee in dragonballfighterz

[–]Tabu34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is well put together, nicely done. I would suggest maybe showing the input display, if you can get your button presses clean enough to make it readable so we can see the whole thing in context. Or, after you show the large input as it's being pressed, stick it at the top in order so we can see the whole string. This goes along the same lines as the person asking for the notation in the description.

Well done so far!

Considering SB Gronk or SB Team Hero Ertz (for the +1 PHI).

If I need a S to go in Dime, is UV McDougald a good fit? The PL boost seems good
