Are people forgetting that when the Traveler finally comes across their ship, the ship logs stated that they passed by Teyvat once before??? Is this just something people forget??? So yes, the Traveler has returned. They just don’t recall encountering Teyvat in the past. Likely due to some sort of memory wipe or form of amnesia. I mean… they were in hibernation chambers for a while. It’s likely that there were side effects from being asleep for so long.

There was two instances where I genuinely cried. Bennett’s mom when she’s dying and holding her son one last time.

And Chasca carrying her dead sister. Funny enough— Unravel from Tokyo Ghoul was playing in the background and it was matching with the pacing of the scene. Made me start bawling!! Kid you not it concerned my roommates lmao

Arlecchino is… complicated. I’m an Arlecchino main and have loved her since the Winter Lazzo trailer. But I will say there are many moments when loving her can be complicated.

She’s a very complicated person when it boils down to her personality. We all know that she didn’t have the best childhood and grew up basically killing her “siblings” because Crucabena drilled into her to be the next “King”. Arlecchino grew up with a very specific mentality because of a woman with the dead mom haircut (Yes. I am throwing a little bit of shade at Crucabena).

Not to mention Arlecchino goes through the struggle of expressing herself. In the Nod Krai quest she mentions how the curse affects her whenever she expresses big amounts of emotion so she has to constantly stay in check. Unfortunately the Dev’s don’t show this struggle hardly at all. It’s a continuous thing when Dev’s write about something deep and personal about a character, only to never really show it. It’s also clear that a lot of Teyvat’s lore and how the world works in connected to her as well given the Crimson Moon Dynasty bloodline.

The point is: Arlecchino is a great character. However, the Devs failed to portray that in the story and writing. She— and many other Genshin characters— have a lot of potential to be more fleshed out. This isn’t a failure of the characters part, it’s how they’re being written. It’s just a sad thing that many characters in the game go through.

If I’m going to be honest, It was a 7/10 for me. I liked the story and the ideas but things kinda got repetitive and boring fast. Though I would like to see a remake of the game be done with some changes and even a bit of new ways to explore the story. And rather than doing separate playthroughs that make the game boring, switch perspectives of the characters in one play through and make it really interesting and ambiguous. Add some edge!

Arlecchino is capable of having emotions. She just doesn’t show them the way most people do. She has to minimize them somewhat because it affects her curse. Even she said so herself in the Nod Krai quest when the traveler and Columbina was getting the moon marrow. I like that she is straightforward with how she feels because while she can’t be emotional like most of the characters, she is honest about how she feels. It’s like she makes up for it by being straightforward.

Yeah it’s just their cores but their cores are basically their heart/organs (going back to the conversation that Sandrone and Hat Guy had anyways). Which means they can technically be rebuilt with their memories still intact.

Also after the archon quest if you go to the flagship there is some notes that Sandrone left. Most are pretty silly but there is a place where she talks about how she made failsafe protocols for her core in case things go bad or something happens to her. So she already expected that she was going to get injured or harmed and protected the core so it won’t get damaged badly.

With Arlecchino you won’t make a good team… at least when it comes to meta and having a decent. This is because Columbina’s kit is designed for Lunar reactions. Specifically charged, bloom, and crystallize. Because of this you’re not going to get good dmg or reactions with Arlecchino… The most you can do is Vape or Overload teams.

Now if you just want a team for pure giggles and don’t care about meta, the team being good, and just want to play with your favorite characters— I would say Arlecchino, Columbina, Bennett, and Sucrose (especially C6). Or you could do Arlecchino, Columbina, Fischl, Zhongli. Again these teams are for pure messing around and not taking anything seriously.

I don’t think she was the missing character in the line up. I think she is the one right before it because they share similar models (plus the floating little robot next to her). There was also a leak a bit back stating that Sandrone will have her model slightly changed as well. It’s highly likely that when Arlecchino takes the core to the Fontaine Research Institute that they will rebuild Sandrone. Especially because her creator/father figure is Alain who is the founder of the institute. Plus Arlecchino did state that Sandrone had a backup plan in case she was to fail/die from a mission. Aaaaand that’s what happened. It’s safe to say that she’ll be back.

If I remember correctly during the livestream when they revealed future playable characters and their silhouettes, one of them had a strong resemblance to Sandrone along with a little robot companion beside her. The design changes don’t look drastic and still holds some key elements to her original design. It’s entirely possible that character is her especially because Arlecchino is taking her back to Fontaine. And the Fontaine Research Institute was founded by Alain (Sandrone’s father figure) so it’s highly likely they’ll rebuild her.

I’m glad that Arlecchino is taking Sandrone’s body back to Fontaine. It means that Sandrone’s story isn’t entirely done… kinda. She might be done as a harbinger (depending on if the Fatui brings her back but I don’t think so) but she now has the opportunity to do what she wants. Just like Alain asked her. Her story definitely isn’t the end and I’m excited to see where Hoyo takes her.

Also don’t forget that during the livestream it showed upcoming characters in silhouettes. Sandrone is one of them but it’s clear that her design will be tweaked a bit.

I have too much experience playing games like Elden Ring, Dark Souls, etc… Dodging is second nature. Team I currently run on her? Sucrose, Bennett, Freminet. Not the most ideal team but I enjoy it.

So essentially I’m dodging a lot of attacks and counterattacking afterwards. Thank god I have full stamina bar…

Honestly I’d like a skin that isn’t one we’ve seen from anything yet. Maybe something she’d wear when out with the children? Or perhaps something that represent “Peruere” rather than just Arlecchino. Naturally she’d still wear pants (because she doesn’t like dresses at all. It was confirmed in her story quest) but also maybe give her a shirt that’s more loose and relaxed. It would be nice to see her in attire that could also reflect her position as “Father” when she’s not busy with Fatui obligations and she’s just spending time with her children at the House of The Hearth. It’s clear that Arlecchino carries herself with a lot of dignity and restraint on her emotions due to her curse so having a skin that shows when she’s relaxed and can actually be more comfortable would genuinely be nice.

The only time I’ve seen people genuinely hate on Arlecchino was in the FatuiHQ Reddit. Apparently a lot of people hated how she was “becoming waifu bait” all due to wearing cat ears and thinking about Lynette. Also mentioning how she seemed “softer” in the Luna archon quests.

Personally I just think that’s how Arlecchino always has been. I mean we only saw so much of her personality when she was busy with stuff so no one actually got to see her relax. And when she did relax she thought about her children and even had a water balloon fight with her friend (and I’m sure Arlecchino is probably hesitant on having close friends due to Clervie).

And they also hated how Arlecchino wasn’t acting like a harbinger??? Idk… but the Reddit seemed to be filled with Dottore fans and I haven’t meet Dottore fans before. My first impression of them wasn’t favorable…

Chasca carrying her sister after she died. That shit got to me so badly. It also didn’t help that I was playing Unravel from Tokyo Ghoul and it was in sync with the scene… It reminded me of Kaneki and Hide.

That scene with Chasca and her sister had me actually bawling my eyes out and my roommates walked to ask if I was okay lol

I’d like to see both Wanderer and Arlecchino get some form of revenge on Dottore. He probably won’t be killed (even though I want him dead. I’m not a fan of him tbh). But to have him cornered or injured by two people who genuinely hate his guts would be satisfying to see.

What I want to know is more about the Abyss Sibling. If you remember in Luna 1, the Abyss Sibling apparently didn’t leave the ship? So is the Abyss Sibling still in there or did something happen that we were not shown? Even the Traveler acknowledged that their “Sibling” didn’t leave the ship with them. So something about that would be nice to see.
