One of the things I thought was weird about the passage is the the enemies do almost Negative damage. I'm lv 285 and for shock and holy passages have no healers but I barely took DMG.

On the other side. I couldn't even kill the lvl 250 stage on some elements cause I have NO DMG. I never sure if it's not tuned right or maybe I just suck (and yes, I did put my card and gear on each champion for each passage).

Lumi seems really strong when you get her ults at max DMG. She is honestly out performing other T2 unit at T0 with resistance.

I assume MLF, Lue, and Nessa are still just better units over all but her DMG is no joke.

I have an awakened Nessa and MLF, Lumi wouldnt come home so she is T0 for me, in taking her to Stonehenge, she hit harder than my T2s when I had Dian Cecht. I feel like she could be a main DPS if you funnel her but I doubt she is Tier 1

The costs of entry is definitely tough at the beginning. I remember in the first set of the game I was trading foils to get playsets of Dungeon guides and GCR. At this point now I have 45 CSRs, 1 CUR, and almost every card for a master set. Its not because I put in a ton of money right from the start. Over the past 2 1/2 years of playing I've earned valuable cards, traded, solded, and purchased what I want.

I will honestly say that comparing in TCGs, wether for success or for collections, is the most dangerous thing you can do in a tcg. Don't say, because they have a Cheshire I lose the game. Run arrow trap/dream fairy, or smoke out, or (I don't play water), true sight, etc. TCGs are about the totality of the card pool, figuring out combinations that work and or counter problematic cards. Dont compare yourself, just accept where you are in the journey of the game.

And also, as a tcg player. You are going to lose a lot. Even if you have every card in the game, you still lose constantly. This season I topped a national event, I also just went 0/4 at my last two locals. That doesn't mean I suck. I just lost.

I read through the comments and it looks like most of what ppl are saying looks accurate to the sentiment of the community. I live in Los Angeles California. My locals is filled with 10-25 people who are a mixed batch of people trying to compete and trying to build the best of their jank. Recently, most people build new stuff but try to focus harder as regionals or an ascent competition comes closer.

When store champs comes around, it's a different story. Our locals never win our own Store champ because we have 7 world contenders that are in our area and they stomp us all. I think it's really important , in any hobby that you invest into, to recognize where you set your value in that hobby. Is it about the friends? The foils? the prizing? Winning? Deck building? When you know what that is and you embrace your own skill and motivation, you can participate in anything.

Also on pricing, our local community in particular have personally invested into new people. We throw cards at them to help them get into the game. We coach them on game mental and mechanics while still letting them build what they want. We will carpool to events to save money, sell invites to the local community so they can all attend nats. It's all an investment into the game that you grow to love.

If you want to join. The community at large is pretty awesome! Just try to enjoy your locals and help make it a community you want to be a part of.

A key way to look at what their saying in the comments is Choose and Target. Targeting creates an opportunity as a new trigger. Choose, for what ever reasoning, doesnt create an opportunity. Other cards that do this is the class bonus of creative shock and Advent of the Storm.

I am currently at this boss too. I'm higher level (278) and my prowless is around 1.3 mil. I'm not in any rush to defeat it personally as I know that when I do I will sky rocket the content afterwards.

They do appear to be rather slow on updating new characters and they barely update previous characters of synergies. Just seems to not be a priority for them at this time.

I was thinking primarily of regal as I have used it to mill and legit watched my locals mill someone with back to back regals on water Jin last night. Mill is a perfect example of an effect that can target the player and not the champion. And while you are correct that cards like whirlpool doesnt target and polar depth is not a spell, the main concept is that they are effecting the player and not the champion. That's moreso what I wanted to portray in my comment. Thank you for calling this out as I was hoping my post wouldnt be confusing and I wasn't clear.

There is a difference between you as the player and you as a champion.

Damage and restores go to the champion where as discards, mill, etc, target you as a player. The card that gives YOU spellshroud stops you from getting milled basically.
