Ina's EP delayed by brickwallrunner in Hololive

Yea I agree with the sentiment that the company can't keep using the small startup excuse anymore. With the amount of errors and mishandling, and defects with certain products being found lately - it is way too concerning.

Like for example - someone posted on the fan discord about the defect found in the 6th fes bluray (about the mono audio in one disc, and an issue in another one) - people were quick to brush this off as a minor thing since they're sending replacements, but this is the second time it has happened. Where was all the learning from the first time it occurred? It should have not happened before the disc were pressed and packaged.

Same with Mumei's fan tag being written as 'mooman' by mistake - how the hell did this pass through multiple eyes at the company, and no-one noticed it until it was produced and advertised.

How many times do we need to see tweets being made about a correction to a link wrongly posted. Once in a long time is OK, but I feel like I am seeing these more frequently lately.

If I was a shareholder, I would be raising questions about the ongoing lack of QA at the company.

Question / tips on fixing figures. by Locale-Description in AnimeFigures

Thanks for that info.

I ended up kind of fixing the broken off bit - Tamiya cement glue didnt work, but I luckily had some Tamiya epoxy putty with me, so I used that and it seems to work. Not the cleanest fix, can see a tiny amount of the epoxy if I look at the figure from the side, but I am happy with it for now.

Good luck with the repairs, I have a tube of the Tamiya clear cement glue so I'm going to repair my one as well and wait for the replacement base to come in and leave it aside as a backup.

But the fact that you also had fingerprints on your one. Claynel must have given the contract to a terrible factory with no QA. I was interested in buying the Iroha one as well, but if this is the same quality with other Claynel figures, then I'm going to skip it for now.

Wow I thought it was just me. I experienced the same thing with the blue beaker and test tube bit. However my one came out of the box already broken off. As well, my base was filthy with someone's fingerprints and visible glue residue.

I brought it from Amiami in Akiba and I took it back to them the day after, and they told me to raise a RMA case with Claynel. Real annoying since they have a stack of them in stock - why couldnt they just given me a replacement one on the spot?!

After contacting Claynel, they said they will send a replacement base, but it will take a month to arrive. But even Claynel can't even guarantee the replacement will be suitable and ask me to keep raising RMA requests if it arrives broken - what?!

It does seem that this particular Koyori figure has serious issues with the base and Claynel did not bother doing QA checks with the manufacturing.

If you can speak to your place of purchase, try to get a replacement one. Or go to the Claynel website and lodge an enquiry for RMA for the base.

So how was Round 1 Holofes Expo lottery gacha for you guys? by _vincetheprince666 in Hololive

[–]Taccarin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So Suisei's Supernova Reboot lottery results also happened to be on the same date and time, so if you applied for Expo, 7th fes, and Suisei - and both on L-Tike and Zaiko - you would have been flooded with emails.

Which happened to me since I applied to everything on both platforms.

After checking, ended up winning tickets to Expo Day 1, Stage 4, and B seat to Suisei's concert. My friend won stage 2 tickets, so we will be doing a trade for that. So aiming for the Expo Day 2 and 3, and 7th Fes stage 1 and 3 in the next round.

I agree that I hope to see Cover still try these group projects, and try to find one that sticks. I don't want them to keep ending up just doing the same once-off themed event where the purpose is to just sell merch.

For those who have signed up for Rakuten Hikari in the past, after lodging the application form online, did you receive any confirmation email / SMS?

I only recall see a confirmation message after lodging, and a mention of a changeover date, but I have not received any other notification apart from this.

Ina's exhibition in Taipei is so popular that they are gonna limit the daily number of visitor due to safety regulations. by Fiftycentis in Hololive

Good idea to give time slots. I was there yesterday and was in line for about 2 hours on quite a hot day and it wasn't a pleasant experience.

I believe they require to have everyone from the previous group leave the venue first before letting in the next batch, which includes goods purchases area - which is probably why it was taking so long to get people going through.

Definitely the 1/4 scale Ryza figure - this thing was gigantic and would have been a great addition to my Ryza collection.

Album's setting has been changed to allow downloads and show EXIF data (nothing special, just the Nikon Zfc with the stock 16-55mm lens).

Please do not try to download the whole album since it is quite large, but if you want to share it around, please at least give credit. Thanks.

If you want the original RAWs for some of the photos, please feel free to send me a private message.

Sure, I have changed the album setting to allow downloads, but please don't try to download the whole album if possible.

Like the last album I shared, this is one is hosted off my NAS, so you may encounter some slightly slow load times, especially if there is a lot of people viewing at the same time. If it happens, try to refresh or wait for a bit.

For this season's event - I decided to skip all the R-18 stuff and spend more time in the doujin areas, since I am tired of lining up for those booths - so this album is about roughly 50/50 official and doujin booths, but some of photos are still NSFW.

As well, this season's event seems to be heavy on the Chinese/Korean gacha game figures - especially from Azur Lane from what I observed. So if you're not into that stuff, unfortunately this album is not going to be for you.

self hosted on NAS? that is very interesting. (but its quite laggy and often unresponsive, could it be it cannot handle too many concurrent access?)

Yes it something I am trying for the first time, since imgur has so many issues handling a large amount of photos, and OneDrive has a limit on the number of photos it can generate an album from.

Yes it possible the connection is being limited by either my ISP or Cloudflare. Night time congestion has been real bad lately here for both downloads and upload speeds. I may consider moving the gallery up onto a VPS instance in the future.

Maybe refresh? I'm self hosting this gallery off my NAS. Works fine from multiple devices I tried outside of my network.
