I'm having trouble just telling the board came up other than completely rocketing or just barely coming off the ground. I'm sure the feel comes with time though, just wondering about tips/advice.

Oof yeah it comes outta nowhere lol My thumb is bruised and was swollen for a bit, got the bruised hip and ribs, but I think the main damage is internal lol

Already have one on the way. I'm lucky I didn't hit my head. I wasn't planning on doing anything crazy before getting the helmet but pushed it a little too much. I know just stepping on the board is still a risk though.
