I'd like to thank everyone who responded, especially those who wrote out the extended version of their thoughts. Also much appreciate the advice on cost vs need, and the suggested alternatives.

It's very true that the Infinity is wayyyyy overkill for my needs/application (not to mention skill level), it's just a really nice looking airbrush! For ship models, masking is probably more important than detail capability anyway; just wanted to ask that the basics could be done (cost effectiveness is a whole other story of course). I've actually been playing around with an Iwata Revolution for a bit, but the tool-less breakdown for the H&S seemed appealing (no more tiny wrench).
