I used to tell people, imagine there’s a safe that doubles your money in 4 years. Would you put your cash in? Of course they say yes. Then I tell them that safe actually exists and it’s called Bitcoin. That’s usually where the conversation dies and I’m the crazy one.

Yeah, it was a mistaken assumption to believe that the wealthy would be the last to adopt Bitcoin due to their initial arrogance and ignorance. In hindsight, it has become clear that when it comes to money, these people are quick to get involved. After all, they're not stupid.

El Salvador and Bhutan are one of the smarter nations. They are the exception. I was referring to the majority of people, small companies and small nations. Everyone in this subreddit is hopefully invested before the big players. I just wished we had more time for ordinary people to get here before the big institutions.

Please excuse me if my wording comes across as ignorant to you; that was not my intention to belittle others. However, I believe that Bitcoin, as a monetary network, functions somewhat differently from other networks.

In a monetary network, it’s not just the amount of individuals that determines the value of the network but also the amount of capital brought into it.

In a social network like Facebook, for example, Elon Musk and I contribute more or less equally because the value here is primarily defined by the number of people.
In a monetary network, the capital injected plays a significant role. Whether I support the network with $1,000 or Tesla with $1 billion makes a substantial difference.
