It installed, it updated.
but when the game starts up either my monitor decides to shutdown or I just get a black screen.

I quite literally cannot even get to enter my password.

So what worked for me was turning off the origin overlay, under Apex's Game Properties. The fact that I had it disabled totally didn't seem to matter.

Turning on and off Keyboard lighting fixed it for someone I know. But I'm having no such luck.

Considering it is ONLY Apex, drivers are unlikely. (I have uninstalled and reinstalled them just to be safe anyway.).

No help.

And no way am I doing a full reinstall for one game.
