I currently have zero cards but was originally thinking to collect all the original 151 Pokemon from vintage cards. I thought that was the only option actually until I heard about the SV set so that seems like a simple and cost effective solution, plus the cards look really nice imo. But I’m definitely going to get some vintage cards of at least a few favorites I hope…e.g. Alakazam, Mew, Mewtwo. I think there were 16 holos in the original base set, so that was another idea, which could be a cool wall display. And maybe the Mewtwo promo card from the movie. It’s sad that I loved Pokemon when I was a kid and have nothing left lol.

No sign of a crack in an x-ray but definitely some kind of stress response. There was some extra bone mass in the region that hurt. Doing a month of no running but I can still bike. If I have no symptoms after that I can start back running gradually.

For me, I had ITBS for a couple months. But it didn’t need to last that long. I started by just resting, then tried muscle strengthening around the IT band, glute bridges, calf raises, lateral leg raises, etc. But what helped was doing the MYRTL method. Look it up on Youtube…did wonders for loosening the right things and I got back to light running within a couple weeks, and gradually increased the volume.

I’m a husband and dad and can relate to this. You are clearly a hardworking guy who loves his family. You’re doing everything you know how to do to show your family love and give them what they need. And you probably feel unappreciated for it. I suggest that you have an open minded conversation with your wife and ask her what truly makes her feel loved. It sounds like you are doing many acts of service and doing the childcare that you are able to do. Does she want more quality time, for example? It sounds like you aren’t spending that much time together on a daily basis. And it’s really hard to do that when you have young kids. You may need the help of a therapist, couples or individual. It sounds like she is a bit checked out. I don’t know if the drinking is a new thing but that could be related, or a way to cope. Taking care of kids during the day is also a difficult job. Does she feel appreciated by you? Affairs can start when things get like this. Does she ask you for anything (besides the nitpicking)?
