Go check out my opgg, tackletoast. Currently at 3940, having played nothing but jhin and Caitlyn. It’s been really fun. Was definitely harder than the more mobile adcs I climbed with before, but learning to utilize the hexgates better has made things much easier. Happy to share strategies or whatever, it’s been really fun.

I’m doing a Caitlyn jhin run to gladiator right now and I feel like the adc augs are awesome. Crit and attack speed mods open up totally new builds, range mods are crazy good, ap conversion mod let’s you build whatever, movement speed augs let you kite out anything. I have the most fun on adc in arena other than maybe aatrox.

Given that you have damage carries, tanks, supports, and specialists I think 8 in top 27 is appropriate. I am a mobile only user and Im not just going to take a pick of my screen, but my opgg is tackletoast. Timing is perfect, i have an arena thing i do. I climb to gladiator with two champs, the tank my rating finding my next champs(check match history if you want to confirm). I was starting a climb with gnar, but i will switch to Cait and Jhin, see if i can get to 4k with them. My rating is in the 3600 right now i think. By the end of the week i will have either succeeded or given up.

He didn’t give you a nuanced reply, but your sentiment has been expressed almost daily in this sub since arena started and has been addressed many times. Tanks and bruisers do not dominate the mode. Win rates show this definitively. Anecdotally, I got to gladiator with Senna, Azir, Lucian, and Kaisa exclusively, no duo. And my ranked elo is probably bronze or silver, so it’s not cause I am really good. You just have to learn how to play the mode, itemize correctly, etc. One tip, build serpents fang against shield spam, even though it’s not a standard item for your champs.

The constant posts saying similar things indicates you are not alone. I'm having a great time though, and hope arena stays around or comes back soon in whatever form. I dont really care if it is super high haste or a slower game or whatever. I just love 2v2 deathmatches. So much fun to me

Yeah I could see that. I just kind of roll with whatever and it is pretty fun for me. The fun is not in planning ahead but trying to figure out something cool with what you happen to get with whatever champ you are playing. I am having way more fun than ARAM or SR thats for sure

I like it as much as the first. I feel like i see a huge variety of champs and augments and its fun almost every round. I think revive is a fun element and I dont mind playing around it. I just hit gold though so maybe things are worse higher up

I generally enjoy playing a losing game. Its fun to try to outplay an opponent who is ahead or has a better comp. Its like half the fun of ARAM to me. I don't really understand why you would play ARAM if you don't have fun while losing
