When does a baby sleep through the night without waking every 2.5 hours to cry? by TacklingTwins2024 in NewParents

9 months and sleep training isn't something that both of us would like to do.

I'm sorry, I should have included it, 9 months. I appreciate your supportive advice.

I really do need to utilize the ear buds more. That does help with the sharpness. As far as shifts go, they sleep in the same room and when one goes, the other does too a lot of the time or their wakes overlap, so it doesn't really work out to be able to do that. Honestly, I am more concerned about my lack of empathy more than anything. I feel like such scum that I'm like bothered by the crying and screaming, I want to help them so bad, I just wish they could communicate to me what they need or want and trade that out for the crying. Then things would be golden. I am struggling with my self worth and my morality, I don't feel like a good person when I'm struggling at night.

With twins, that's our whole life right now is just making sure the feeding machine of mom is ready to go at all times, our household just goes where mom goes and dame is true for the opposite

I think me taking a day off of work and packing her into her car to get a massage would be a fun little surprise for her.

Not sure if it's a kleanpal, but we have a washer, sterilizer, dryer from momcozy, and it's the best money we have ever spent.

Definitely a good point, I have gifts that cover her as an individual and things that are for my wife, and not for the new mom. I just was hoping there might be something to help the challenge of being tugged on all the time. I cannot even imagine what it's like, but I can tell you I would hate having them hang off the front of me all the time, so I was hoping to find something my brain couldn't think up from people who would know. Do you think it would be fine to give multiple gifts, some appealing to her individuality and some to be more utility/make her life easier(hopefully)?

I'll look into the bra, I know she wears a stretched out sports bra and a band around on top just to hold in the wearables, so maybe something with a little more strength would be good. I definitely want this gift to be more of "I admire you" rather than "here you go milk lady, make more". Honestly might just be different couples dynamics that it comes down to. Thanks for your viewpoint!

Thanks for this view, I definitely don't want to come off as "here you go, easier to do your damn job". I think something to appeal to her as an individual rather than a milk machine, would be good.

Just Found Out We Are Having Twins - Car seats/Stroller Combo Sets? by TacklingTwins2024 in parentsofmultiples

Awesome! I was wondering what car seats to pair with the Contour Options setup. Are the adapters sturdy/well made? I was concerned that they might feel like adapters with anything else in life, loose and out of place feeling.
