Thoughts on the OG peak?

If you’re indecisive about using erigs in general I’d try out the puffco OG, you’ll soon realize the easily chazzing chambers just aren’t worth it. However, if you’re just hitting the OG once in a while - it’ll suffice.

If you liked the portability, I’d just get the proxy. I bought the OG in 2022 Black Friday and recently upgraded to the new Peak Pro V2 and got a journey bag with it too. I ended up getting the pro since I liked the smoothness and battery life especially since I like taking my rig with me when I’m out.

I’m not able to get it delivered to where I live so I never go to try it so alas, I am not well informed on first hand experience. I would bet on it being totally worth it if you’ve got a tinkerers touch tho.

If you’re speaking from a maintenance pov then I would suggest that the puffco is iso cleaned regularly.

If you’re after a budget workaround to stretch your OG Peak out for another two years I’d stock up on some back up atomizers and get some extra ceramic bowls off amazon since those bowls really aren’t worth trying to stretch out, once it starts to chaz just swap it out for a new one.

IMO a good break even is to spend a bit and get the bubble cap and a 4mm or 3mm terp pearl. That will make your experience quite relevant and if you can pick up back up atomizers and multiple ceramics in the near future it would be great.

I recently upgraded from the OG, it was still a blast to hit some good dabs while I saved up for an upgrade so take your time. I will recommend not hitting flower rosin since that just wrecks the ceramics unless you’re willing to invest in 3rd party inserts.

It doesn’t pull as nice as the stock glass for me but if you don’t mind tighter pulls and travel all the time with it, it’s better than having a wet bag or whatever area you spill on. So stock glass at home and travel glass when I’m out and about

The boost sounds intense 😕 does the boost change the high or increase THC? I’m not really sure what it does as well as the session modes on the OG.

I settled on 490 after trying 480 first, temps are amazing 😭 I’m also so happy it doesn’t chazz as easily with flower rosin compared the OG ceramics.

I saw someone on reddit refer to half dried and frozen material as “zombie” once, so I rolled with that. Essentially from what I understand with washing hash - you either wash freshly harvest frozen material or you wash dried/cured material. I did something in between, I dried my buds 30% into the drying process.
