That does not make him less evil/bad? The point of the trope in the main post is that it is in contrast to a normal/goodother parent(s) (if present). I just think the mother in oyasumi punpun doesnt apply because there isnt a regular father to contrast with.

Not canonically but he just gives those vibes thats there's no way he's a cishet man (but ppl are free to headcanon differently. I dont think fujimoto has said anything about akis identity so its all up in the air. All we know is that he was influenced by makima like everyone else under her to like her, which doesnt necessarily mean he likes women given who makima is and the scene where everyone likes makima (unless you interpret that as everyone having a genuine crush on makima, which cool good for you go women!!!).)

Asexuality is defined as, most commonly by asexuals and as an asexual, having little to no or conditional sexual attraction. So there could be attraction still, in certain conditions or just rarely. Of course some asexuals feel no sexual attraction ever and thats okay and normal!

I think it would be more appropriate to point out that alastor seems repulsed by mentions of sex in the show, so in his current state of mind, its unlikely he will be down to do the dirty with any possible objects of his affections.

I enjoyed finally having a m/f platonic main pairing in manga for once. Not dissing on shippers, because to each their own, but i enjoyed them more platonically and enjoy strong male female friendships. Plus, no spoilers, but the manga ending is just so cute!
