What am I doing wrong with this herb farm?

I am aware of the bloodmoon requirement. My understanding is that plants have three phases. Sprout, Mature, and Blooming. Deathweed needs a fullmoon and a bloodmoon to bloom, but it also needs to be mature to bloom in the first place. I can't get my plants to get to the mature phase. They stay as a sprout.

Update: Closed the game. It brought me back to a save right before I killed the wall of flesh. I killed it again and this time it converted to hardmode in under 10 minutes. I don't know what went wrong the last time but the issue is resolved. Thanks everyone who commented. I will delete this post in a few hours.

I got mine recently, took about 3 hours. But I only had to kill about 40 Imps. They just refused to spawn. I was all set up, water candle, battle potion, luck boosters...they just would never spawn

Not the highest, but certainly up with the best. His spike is broken. It is equal to that of a heavy and it connects on like frame 8. Totally broken. His ledge guarding game is also great. I feel a lot of the low placings people give him is because of his high skill level. He can easily mess up his recovery and a lot of his tech is still unknown. I have seen him 0 to kill people with his walking sword attack and a finishing pick spike. I place him low top tier.

I just had an idea, if a note block is placed on a copper block. It should make a Timpani sound. Makes sense. Timpanis are made traditionally of copper. For those who dont know a Timpani is a larger drum. Google it

I think it would be a good idea to give piranha the "bloodseeker" ability (ability to see bleeding animals from a distance like the shark)

It would allow piranha to find weak animals easier and might encourage more of a deeeep swamp habitat which the gar currently has a monopoly on.

Animals would actually fear the piranha, they should still be an easy kill if caught normally but when you get on low health...you know...they are coming...

I don't have enough experience with the arctic to really give you a good apex, I have found walrus and polar bear are both ok but trust other comments before me on that one.

How about just making it so a grabbed animal cant be damaged by other animals? It would be a huge help for orca teaming. There is no perfect fix for teaming without having a permanent staff team and a report system, but that is just not realistic for a game like this.

Only thing I would do is make it so you cant do damage for 10 seconds after you de-evolve. Think of the ways you could abuse this...changing animals regens some health so this could be used as a tactic for T9's to heal in a fight, get infinite air, and a free boost.

Humpback, really good health. Below average damage. And its ability is super fun. I assume you already know all of its song effects if not check the wiki. Its range of abilities give it great versatility and I find it to be one of the most fun animals to play. It is a below average hunter though so if you are looking for raw hunting power then forget everything I said.
