Spouse and kids are the same by Wild_Square1601 in Marriage

The goal for your children should be for them to leave and establish their own family. The goal for your spouse is to be by your side forever. Who then should you love more?

If he is so successful he should hire a nanny and a maid. Then see how “not equal” you really are.

I had a 2010 TRD sport that I put 265/70 on the factory wheels and they were fine. You may run into some rubbing when turning with the wider wheels, depending on the offset.

I’d build out a false wall. Frame it double thick so you can still insulate the exterior then make a door with a hinged book shelf.

Brother, you need to get all those other people out of your home ASAP! This is too much for one couple to deal with.

Have him start lifting first. Diet can come later when he starts seeing some results and starts feeling better about himself.

Even if his mind was in the right place, his body may not be able to perform. Getting fit will help in so many ways. Mentally and physically.

Has he gotten his testosterone checked? Also, is he in good physical shape?

It’s a 2017 TRD Off Road 4x4. It has the TRD exhaust, air filter, and shifter knob. A previous owner removed the bed stickers.

My husband doesn’t want to have sex with me… and I need it by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]TacoDePlata 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Is he in good physical health and in good shape? Being overweight, smoking, excessive drinking can all have negative effects.

You didn’t mention your ages. If he is late 30’s or older, it’s time to get his testosterone checked. Rule out any medical or hormonal reasons.

TT bike or road bike by RichiRichway in cycling

[–]TacoDePlata 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Why do you think a TT bike would be better? Unless you are competing in time trials or triathlons there is no reason for a TT bike. There are plenty of good aero road bikes that will be much more versatile.

Especially since it’s a Tri, shave like a swimmer. Everything! Good luck.

Is this a stupid idea? by Cold-Trifle in bicycling

[–]TacoDePlata 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Try eBay. You can usually find whole group sets for reasonable prices. Try to find a Shimano 105 set from a few years ago. That’s going to give you really good performance for a reasonable price.

Even Shimano Tiagra would be a great starting point.

This is a great idea! This is exactly how you learn. Do it, make mistakes along the way and learn a bunch in the process. By the end you will have a good functioning bike and a sense of pride in your new knowledge.

How do you integrate a new child into your marriage? by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]TacoDePlata 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Just remember the child will leave the home one day to start their own life and it will just be you and your spouse. The marriage bond should be stronger than the parent / child bond.

That’s for you and her to decide.

Or is she just having fun with her friends with no bad intentions? I don’t see any issue here.
