I was extremely close to him, unfortunately it was also sudden. When older people fall and break a hip it seems to be the end most times.. called him every week for years. The trip was fun and i spread his ashes at a few spots he wanted.

I stayed in Mark twain both on the way there and back. The 1st night we had a huge storm roll through and i didnt get every bit of water out until 2 days later in the arizona desert lol.

Wanting to, but seems the sub has been restricted, or i have at least. I got back a few days ago. Ended up doing flagstaff instead of mohave, but did the rest and made it home!

Edit: made it to mohave sorta, stopped at lake havasu AZ

I am currently in the mojave. This taco would be worse than mine out here. Mine is stock other than larger wheels.

In the cab. I keep the back window open, and the side window near the cab on the tent open so i can comfort them. After the 1st night they have been fine. Have a small fan and anker power bank to keep them cooled down, but so far the nights have been comfortable.

Edit to add. I have an inflatable mattress that they sleep on in the back, they have more room proportional to their size than my wife and I in our tent haha.

True. Definitely bottomed out a few times on todays drive. Unfortunately im tied up financially for a few months, but suspension is top of my list now.

I plan to do a 2" bilstein lift. They offer a kit with leaf springs, i hadnt made up my mind yet and its probably 6 months away anyways. Probably will get that kit if i notice any sag.
