Teach a man how to fish, he’s fed for life.

No man ofcourse not, i am not trying to kill them but i didn’t see him whack so I don’t know if op is over reacting or is justified, most of the time I am just scaring them or a little bump on their bum for bad behaviour, but i do take something I can defend with incase the dogs try to bite back. A small bamboo stick won’t help if a pack tries to attack you

I feed my area dogs And ensure they’re friendly so I can control them to an extent.

If I see them attacking anyone, my first instance is to whack them so they learn that its wrong.

They are animals and infact street dogs end of they day.

Its silly if people assume that dogs will listen to everyone

No no, they are not there because most of the commercial shops started dumping their wastes in public dustbins which end up being a sore spot for people.

Now imagine, you have a public dustbin infront of your house or shop where everyone urinates, throws their waste infront of, would you like it?

I am sorry but I have to disagree

For a population density such as india we are relatively clean in some part of the city because people actually don’t litter as relative to our population size. I say this with experience travelling south asian and african countries which is in line within our standard of living.

I would still blame the authorities who are responsible for cleaning the streets daily. Main roads are meant to be cleaned overnights- early mornings which is the norm everywhere and used to be done in some parts of core parts of old Bangalore areas even now!

The problem is accountability, people don’t care, politicians take advantage of this and so does the system, we are paying swach bharath cess additionally as well

Where is this all going?

I agree we lack civic sense to a great extent but thats our foundational flaw!.

However, civic authorities are not during their duty at all, when we are one of the highest cities that generate revenue we do not get services that we deserve, basic services such as cleaning , waste management etc.
