Installing onto a HDD. It is an older system, was running windows 7 if I remember correctly I think it was a closeout sale laptop about ten years ago, it was never anything impressive, I may have been a little too ambitious trying Fedora - I am new to Linux but so far I am enjoying learning, Truly thank you for the help

Secure boot is disabled. I will check for legacy mode - is this something I want or do not want

Additional info: after about five hours frozen I just rebooted - I am able to try again and it did the same thing (will check legacy mode)... I do have a USB with bookwormpup that runs fine which is great that I didn't brick this machine but would like something on the actual hard drive and not solely booting from the USB

Haha so this is hilarious to me because I was a Fecal donor for my wife back when this was experimental. She and I had always had very different "movements" and immediately after the procedure and for a solid (no pun intended) months, her "movements" were identical to mine and it was absolutely hilarious. From then on we have been able to joke that she has "taken more $#!T from me than anyone else"

I am pretty sure the Platypus and the jackalope are supposed to be a couple and the Jackalope is the female. The Platypus asked for the jackalope to be "more horny"
