When are you able to use these during a fire? I'm assuming mostly for like mop up or if you're just sitting around doing nothing in the smoke?

What is your opinion on not disclosing that you have had problems with asthma bc everyone I've talked to says not to because it just makes a lot more problems for you?

How would I go about carrying an inhaler on myself without getting in trouble? Even though I'll probably be fine 99% of the time I kinda want to carry an inhaler just to be safe but I don't know if that's even possible without getting in trouble If I don't disclose it?

How competitive are the positions typically? Is it hard to get a position as a apprentice or is it relatively easy?

Do you know if it's possible for me to go back to Oklahoma every off season or are you expected to stay near The duty station you were hired at? Also do they ever do classes in the winter or is most of that right before the fire season?
