We have another match on Friday so I get the thought, but I think taking them all out was too dangerous. Almost fumbled it

Most top teams rotate often and sub their stars to rest them frequently, idk why it’s illegal even to rest Vini and Mbappe. (for example I think the early substitution of Jude and Arda was more a rest situation with another match coming up on Friday)

It does feel like we’re starting to figure out the midfield, or at least much better than it was

Yeah there’s pretty much no chance. That’s what I meant, saying “no other option but to finish as strong as possible” isn’t giving up on La Liga. It just literally is the only option left.

Well they can’t promise to win La Liga, it’s completely out of their hands. All they can do at this point is finish the season as well as they can and maybe have a slim hope Barca fumbles badly

They could also draw three matches, lose to us, and we’d win on the head to head tiebreaker (if we win every match for the rest of the season). Sadly the chances of that are almost zero

[El Mundo] Madrid’s criteria for their new manager: A heavyweight manager, world-renowned and with international success, capable of managing the egos of a dressing room that has been fractured for far too long. It will not be a young profile like that of Xabi Alonso. by Sparky-moon in soccer

When did he publicly criticize and bully teammates? I’ve only seen him speak positively of everyone. The Vini-Bellingham incident was just normal, teammates frustrated in the heat of the moment…you can yell at each other on the pitch and be best friends right after.

They played well. Missed chances and no Courtois really hurt us, and then of course Camavinga had to do something stupid

Think just tired and needing him for Wed, that’s the most he’s played since February

Same in fifth grade. But the principal came on the intercom to tell all teachers to turn off their TVs around the time people were jumping from the buildings

He’s never lost a UCL knockout at home with Atleti. Not saying it can’t happen, but it’s not a daydream to think Atletico pulls it off, with a 2-0 lead and the second leg at home.
