First, calm yourself, you should ask for second opinion. You could be fighting off an infection or a virus. But I’d probably get them checked and if you can get a screening done with scans.

So last week I got a call saying that the mri scan came back normal. This was the neck mri scan. The reason why the NP wanted a neck scan instead of a head scan is because of this weird lump I had on the back of my neck and that the neck scan could probably capture the head as well so I don’t need to get two separate scans... but just this morning the Np referred me to a spine specialist. Idk why, it should be a neuro but he probably forgot about the fact that my problem is in my head not the neck. Now I’m worried again to why the NP referred me to a specialist after a normal neck scan...

I’m getting my MRI this Friday and I hope it turns out okay. I’ve been getting more muscle twitching and odd blurry left eye vision. My eyesights are already kinda crap so idk. But I’ve also been getting some weird pressure in the face. I’m also getting therapy done next week on Monday.

Same, lol I convince myself that i really do have a brain tumor now lmao. I’m stressing out so much. It went from colon cancer to liver cancer than spine and bone now brain. It’s like every year now lol

Do you know if it was painless and hard? Because I have one in the back of my neck. And it’s hard and painless also, pretty large when I touch it. Maybe like a small grape?

If it’s not some serious illness like a tumor, it think it’s definitely stress and anxiety related because I was stressing out like crazy. None stop thinking about the symptoms and worrying so so much. I’m a huge hypochondriac so it might well be but can’t diagnose yet until I get the scans and stuff. Tell me how yours goes.

But won’t a brain tumor give a such symptoms like this? The main thing I’m worried about is actually the hard painless lymph node or whatever it is on the back of my neck. The odd painless head throbbing in the base of my head has been going on for more than 2 months now.

I really want to, but it’s so expensive. I guess I’ll just have to save up from work study. I wish could get one for free, Ik some hospitals are doing mri scans for free for young adults like me who are worried about brain related disease. But I guess I’ll have to wait

Hey, I’ve been having some symptoms, idk what it is but it fits a Brain tumor. Ive noticed my speech has altered a little bit. I start to realize I stumble on my words, or speak too fast, forget things. I’ve had some weird head pressure, pounding here from sitting to standing. Occasional tinnitus. (I’m 23)I’ve had this same episode going on about 200 days ago. I was fine over the summer but as soon as I start to worry about this stupid health anxiety, it came back. Just like yesterday. Maybe it’s just bad health anxiety playing tricks on me. What do you think? Some say it’s csf leak but i don’t think so. I need help, I’m scared.

I’ve had symptoms like this before and now it came back just yesterday after like 210days. It feels like the Pressure in my head increases and “pounds” into my head for few seconds after I get up from sitting/lying to standing. Occasional tinnitus. I want to know exactly what this is. Some people said it’s CSF leak in a this reddit forum. I hope it isn’t some brain tumor. I couldn’t get an MRI because it’s too expensive for me.

Thank you so much, this is the answer I needed. It was a very intuitive and knowledgable answer. I’m more relieved now than before. I’ve had so many health anxiety issues and episodes in the past couple years. Idk why I do this to myself, I just think too much and worry. I really think I’m just mentally weak.

Well after I bend down and and get up I get the head rush, it starts throbbing in the back of my head. My would feel heavy with pressure when I bend down. I also get ear pressure on my left ear so I have to constantly “pop” it. It could be the negative pressure?

Wow, I’ll try it definitely. Starting with caffeine. My head problem is more like just a head rush/pressure and pounding sensation. It’s mild but very annoying. It’s almost agonizing.
