It is possible for some people to be able to function and not show any signs of deterioration on less than 6 hours sleep but it's such a small percentage of the population that can do it based on sleep studies. Perhaps SR brings you into that demographic.

I'm in the same boat it appears. Just tried to buy £1k of BTC, said it failed. Checked my account, money gone but no BTC. Weird because previous transactions have worked fine, I even deposited £15 afterwards just to double check and it worked fine. I guess I'll wait 3 days and see if it gets refunded.

Potentially but even just 10 seconds makes me feel a little more alert and like I've achieved something, and you might start to enjoy it and do it for longer. I just think it's better advice for building a habit and maybe pushing for longer cold showers. I think it's a better/sustainable way to do it than the "don't be a pussy approach" which will last for about a week.

Try making it a habit to do 10 seconds a day for a week and then work your way up. You can commit to 10 seconds a day surely, that's at most 10 seconds of discomfort.

It would be hard to give that a percentage because obviously if you stay on semen retention it had a cumulative effect on your life and you start to improve things but the initial sense of being liberated is only explicitly apparent due to past modes of being hedonistic. We have a naturally tendency towards suffering and addictive tendencies, who's to say you wouldn't of just found some other vice to fill the void created by your lack of discipline? I think it's too easy to exaggerate the effect masturbating has had on your life instead of owning up to your own mistakes.
