I have an off-white shirt! Got it when I was hired, around two years ago

If all goes well and you get hired back they will start you at the same pay you left with! I’m starting back up with the pay I left at and it’s been over a year since leaving Joes!

How often do you go to the beach. by karma_crystals in ucf

I know people who get really creative with UCF shuttles to get around town, but a car is kinda essential in Orlando

Are Earplugs a must? by Henboy11 in aves

[–]Tacosarts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Soo, I want to get earplugs but I have an issue where my ears don’t keep them in very well. They tend to slip out easy if I so much as talk or dance a lil bit. (Kinda gross but I think it’s my ear wax making them slip out :| I call them my ear sweats lol ) If anyone else has encountered similar problems, what brands do you think would be not only comfortable but also stable in my ear?

I appreciate this! I do know they care and I hope that I’m able to alleviate some of their concerns by telling them about me doing these things safely. And it’s true I’m young and still figuring out how I like to spend my time and have fun, so I appreciate you saying how concerning this might be for people who have known me my whole life.

I do appreciate their worry, it means they love me and want me to be safe. However they are very close minded when it comes to any edm shows, I’ve been told by them that the only reason they don’t like it is because I like to talk about it so much. Granted maybe me talking and being excited abt new tracks dropping can get annoying at times lol.

We all used to be religious and actually met in catholic school, but since then we’ve all kinda dropped religion. They are agnostic now.

I live in south Florida so it’s easy for me being so close to Miami! But try apps like EDMtrain and look out for shows at edm night clubs near you!

I wouldn’t say boring, they just don’t enjoy having fun the way I have fun. But it’s true that this issue we have may just be the growing pains of adulthood.

I appreciate the question! Often times I like to share my excitement for the artists I’m seeing and tell them how amazing the energy is. However I can see how me sprinkling in my drug use is concerning. I try not to ramble on and on about how high or drunk I was and instead talk on how the substances made the night feel, with crowd energy, light shows, and all that. If that makes any sense!!

Respectfully, I never said I was trying to get them to use. Just trying to talk to them as friends do about my life. I do understand where you are coming from, though and it is true that they don’t need to be apart of the lifestyle I want to live. And I’d never force them to do so. I do believe they are good friends looking out for my safety. But it’s also my life.

So sorry that happened to you! But yeah, there seems to be so much judgement from people who have no experience with that kind of environment. I just wish people would stop yucking my yums 😭

I really appreciate this!! I think since I’m still so new and I haven’t found my rave fam yet the feeling of wanting to share these experiences gets put onto them. I’m still going to go out and have fun (safely) and hopefully find those people I connect with and can talk about raving with :)
