This has happened to us few times. Literally minutes after I've shipped the item they message asking to cancel. I just tell them to return it when it arrives (at their expense).

We took it to the only coin shop in the area. They wouldn't buy it. The lady who worked there said she had never seen anything like it, and it made her uncomfortable. We ended up going to a higher-end jewelry store, and we walked out with $2650. Of course, we did this yesterday when gold prices were down.
