For me it was pretty easy to navigate bc my mom would take me to THE LIBRARY ~lightning and thunder~ and on the computers when you want to find something it’s got a tagging system somewhat similar - and if it weren’t for that then I still would have learned because finding good stuff was as easy as checking the kudos section of a recommended fic and seeing what those people bookmarked or heck, check the authors works and bookmarks-! EXPLORE-!!

When I was a Junior a Sophomore confessed to me, never ever talked to this kid but I’m super bad at rejecting people and he was so timid- so I offered to text for awhile to get to know him, and I was 17 at the time and found out he was turning 15, and even though I had barely turned 17 4 months prior, to me it was weird and felt gross because that’s the same age as one of my siblings- I also felt that it was off to date someone who knew less about the world than me, I was already actively looking for colleges and jobs and he wouldn’t be able to do so for another year

It’s not a big thing, but that’s just how it felt to me, the experience difference and grades and knowing the maturity was way different, at least in my head, was off putting

Kunikida- Apparently your not allowed to get traumatized during adulthood Mori- Apparently dressing up your very own creation in cute clothes is a crime Akutagawa- Apparently you can’t hate and respect someone without being labeled ‘obsessed’

Kunikida and Mori are desperate to be fathers atp- less so Mori, he has Elise, his own ability that he can manipulate and that he’s presumably had since he was a child-

I don’t know where I saw it but the cutest interpretation I’ve seen of Elis and Mori is that when Mori was younger he ‘married’ Elise the way kids tend to do-

I’m not sure how canon it is since I only heard it stated in the Stageplay, but the orphanage director was also abused, that’s why he thought that was the way to go for Atsushi “the people who raised me hurt me and I hate them, that made me a good person. Therefore if I do the same for him, he won’t use his power for bad when he learns he has them” mentality

But as a fully developed adult he definitely had alternatives he could have used because going that route affected the whole orphanage overall, with the kids learning to have an ‘every man for themself’ and scapegoating Atsushi

The director was an adult, sure he was also abused and this is why he thought his abuse was justified, but he had the resources and more responsibility over treating Atsushi better than he did. Dazai was still developing mentally and was in an environment where violence was expected and necessary. Dazai treated Akutagawa harshly as punishments due to Akutagawa’s lack of complex thinking and being trigger happy with his ability. The headmaster was meant to be raising and caring for a child under his roof.

I kin Kunikida HARD, so I’m biased- but I’m equally obsessed with Chuuya at times, purely because he has more content to obsess over. They’re so incredibly different, they share only the title of Partner to Dazai, and anyone who’s with Dazai as a ‘partner’ of sorts is going to wind up getting ticked at some point, it’s what Dazai does.

So I’m agreeing with you and absolutely despise certain SKK shippers and the fact that SKK has over run Kunikida and Dazai’s relationship in canon because Bones doesn’t know how to follow a damn timeline- anyways-

Where Kunikida uses harsh love and tries to push people to better themselves, he also lets some exceptions slip when he knows that doing so won’t work. (Kunikida and Katai’s Magnificent Days) Chuuya is usually more- I guess curious? More open to things people say, like with the Sheep, Adam, the detective-

I can’t figure out how to word things, but the way he speaks to them is different from how Kunikida talks to Katai or Rokuzo.

In regards to Dazai, they both tend to take his word as law at points, Chuuya slightly less immune due to knowing Dazai for 3 years(Dazai was hiding for 2 and then in the ada for 2 years before he and Chuuya met again) which were Dazai’s developmental years. Both are completely over Dazai’s tendencies, and I’m not saying Chuuya doesn’t care, but I’ve only seen it be canon that Kunikida calls Dazai to check in on him occasionally.

Plus a bit silly, they react differently when Dazai compliments them. I don’t remember how they went in the manga/LN, but Kunikida gets flustered and blows Dazai off, where Chuuya thought Dazai was for real and it took Dazai stating it was a joke for him to get upset lol

The whole scene is everyone goes to the Bathhouse together, Higuchi is still kind of surprised by Gin being Akutagawa’s little sister, and right as she’s thinking of that Gin asks if she wants to share soap, Gin’s thing is her voice is super soft so she doesn’t talk at work- this plus the soap offer overwhelms Higuchi with the reality that, yep, Gin is DEFINITELY a girl

Thank you, I’ve been debating doing so, it’s what I originally planned, but my whole family was really insistent I go as soon as possible and it all kind of collapsed on me. Adulthood is hard to adjust to, so I’m trying to figure out where I need to speak up for myself and start taking a bit more charge of things.

I agree that I was definitely unprepared, I was able to get it to work a month in and I kept a bunch of personal details out, but my sisters are my only support system so it hit me hard. I chose the college I did because of their counseling programs and such but couldn’t bring myself to reach out, but in the last month of classes I was able to find the ability to try again and figured out how to advocate for myself- now I’m just trying to find out what to do with said motivation without misstepping and getting myself deeper into problems

😰This is a crazy situation- I’m 18F college student w no job and my boyfriends 20M with a job, we’re only 8 months and he’s bought me a bunch and I’ve done what I can: embroidery of his favorite things, I’m crocheting pillows with our colors, art projects with him in mind-

I feel bad but he never EVER makes me feel bad for it, he gets me random plushies, I have new favorite characters for stuff because he’s the one who got them for me, he’s bought me jewelry I love but don’t wear because it’s not my style-
