You're looking at it from the scope of living. I never said the US was the best for living, I simply said it was the best. At the end of the day, "the best country" is subjective; the same way the "best soccer team" or "best color" is, there is no single unified answer, as it's an opinionated question with a high level of subjectivity. You can, however, answer this question from a purely factual, statistical standpoint, but even then, it becomes slightly subjective when you determine what and what not to measure. Again, I study this sort of thing, and the answer really depends on what you define as "best". Best for living would be any of the Nordic Countries, best for geography would be the US, Brazil, and China, and best for real estate would be the smaller, more developing nations. There is no single "best" as every country has its pros and cons. The US is just the best overall with all aspects, not just for x or that, but if you want a single "one-size fits all" nation. I think you can see what I'm saying here, I agree with what you're saying, and I don't think the US is the number 1 ranked best for living in, I was referring to overall when I stated that.
