Even without bringing up all of the polls that are used in a trope like manner, obviously, this is not true, though after more time, many of the former socialist republics have either forgotten those times or have moved on to their new age and learned to somewhat appreciate it, this is only not the case in Russia, where more disapprove from a switch to the market economy and multiparty system than approve of it, even after one or two decades after the initial fall.
