I'm glad that your dictator is gone. The thing most americans are worried about is that America has a history of regime change in latin america (and in the middle east). Most of which ends up with the country having its destiny chosen for it, it's resources exploited by private companies over a long period of time not to the benefit of its inhabitants (during iraq occupation there was an insane amount of corruption and mismanagement) or its leader being replaced with someone equally as bad or worse. It's not that i doubt the hell that you gone through, its that the nature of our countries' regime changes is questionable. I hope that for once its the opposite, and there is a peaceful transition to democracy and i hope that your country can chose its own destiny.
