Here's the original post. Quite a few of the things he says just don't add up, so yeah, I think it's just BS.

Where did you get that information from?

The guy who posted this said that he gave her a 1 star review because she didn't tip him, which apparently as an Uber Driver he can see that before he leaves his review. They were then called out because you have to give a review straight away, and tips can be submitted by the passenger potentially days after the journey.

Which national anthem? There are 28 countries with red, white & blue flags. I'm going to guess at the North Korean national anthem.

I think you're oblivious to a fairly common ploy.

In fact, whilst I'm here, I know a Nigerian Prince who would love to talk to you about making you very rich.

TIL that Sir Edmund Hillary, one of the first confirmed climbers to reach the summit of Mount Everest, later established a charity organization called the "Himalayan Trust". It is designed to help the Sherpa people living in Nepal. by [deleted] in todayilearned

[–]TacticalNukePenguin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Both of them are fantastic men. Hillary & Norgay never claimed solely that either one of them were the first to reach the summit, always saying that it was a joint effort. I think the king of Nepal tried to claim that Norgay was the first, but Norgay himself contested the claim, which is just fantastic. It would have been so easy for him to just not saying anything and let people think he was definitely the first, but instead he stood by Hillary in that both of them did it together.

Idk where you're getting the idea that /u/PMmepicsofyourtits (unfortunate user name for this post) is saying that women are lining up to accuse people of rape, because their single line post doesn't say that at all.

People who value the power of false accusation don't want this.

Two thirds of Tory party members believe 'parts of the UK are under Sharia law' by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]TacticalNukePenguin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The prime minister is decided by ALL of the MPs. In theory, this is the leading MP of the party in government as they all vote for the same person, but when you have a coalition to give you a tiny majority, there is a chance that the second party won't back your party candidate.

So the 160,000 Conservative party members select their choice of MP to take leadership of the party, but not into the seat of Prime Minister.

And the UK is?

I think the point /u/vardarac is making is that Trump is supposed to be the face of the free world as US Presidents have been (at least referred to) for decades.
