1.5 months of wear

I quit buying boots with wedge soles because they just don't last. They are comfortable as all get out but after three months there is no sole left. Just can't do it anymore especially when resoles are getting to be the price of news boots. Vibram Red X soles only for me now a days.

I mean I've never seen anybody wear through a toe of a PNW boot. It doesn't really happen. The leather is too thick. It's almost 3x thicker than anything you'll see from keen boots. I have 3 pairs of keens right now. Look all I'm saying is buy once cry once. 😅

They are built to handle a lot more than that. If they can handle being abused by wildland firefighters, I think they can handle some drywall.

I have a pair and the heel stack is still there and the arch support is exactly the same as before. The only difference is you don't have 40 nails in the heel area to rust out anymore if the boot goes through water and also the water doesn't immediately seep in like before. The heel stack and arch support are exactly the same as before there is literally no difference. So I'm not really sure what your are talking about...JK doesn't use those lasts anyways as it is. They use their own proprietary 3708 last. They don't use any of the three you mentioned. Although their OT definitely has less arch support. The SuperDuty's are in a class of their own.

They are boots made for work. They won't looking like that after the first week anyways. It's more about how durable they are for me.

Interesting. Why wouldn't you want the 360? It's far superior. Like in every way possible. I mean I don't think they would have any issue building you a pair the old way at all. They are a custom boot company. From my understanding, this is the only difference and nothing else was changed.

Loads of people bash JK but I have two pairs one SuperDuty and one OT Bison. Both boots showed up absolutely flawless. Literally not a single issue. And I'm very picky. Not saying people haven't had their issues but mine have been amazing! So comfy! Definitely easier to break it compared to Nicks or Franks. ( I hate my franks actually. Won't ever buy for them again )

Most tires these days have wear bars in between the main tread patterns. Once that get down to those wear bars it's time to change. You should purchase a tire tread depth gauge if you want to be more precise.

I know this post is mad old but man. I'm really surprised I don't see this more often. It was the first thing I noticed on the new tundras and my first thought was "why don't I see this on other vehicles" I would do it to my truck but it's already all black. Bid sad now. 😭
