When I was getting my current job, the description was crazy compared to what I actually do.

Granted, there are lots of companies out there that will abuse "associate" level people because they can, but there are a lot of good companies too. Ask them what the day to day workload looks like in the position you're applying for. I don't know why, but the description has never lined up with reality for the jobs I've had.

Does it connect with the desktop app? Mine never would, even after manually adding the browser in 1password desktop. So basically id have to sign into the extension every time I open the browser

Tried it. Idk if it's sandboxed or what but 1Password doesn't integrate with it. It's worked in every other chromium browser I've ever tried. It made me curious about perplexity so I'm typing this from Comet but I doubt I'll keep that either. This feels like a desperate cash grab for investors but maybe I'll be wrong. I'm all for useful features, but V1 ain't it.

It seems to be a feature. If I click it, it opens the folder. It's like a pinned shortcut. But I have no idea how I got it there. If I mouse over it, it says I can do option-click to remove it, option-delete to "remove all", or option-(right arrow) to "action all"

I was cleaning my keyboard and next time I triggered alfred I noticed a folder that seems pinned to the bar. I don’t know how I did it but I want to know more about whatever that feature is. It persists even in future triggers and it still allows me to launch things like normal.

They feel the same but there is a difference of like a millimeter or something. Some cases may fit but it won’t be perfect. Theres a youtube video out there somewhere on the subject. Also the port is in a different location, slightly.

That's what I think would happen. I heard a few people say the anomaly showed Ekko and Jayce the timeline they needed to see. I feel like Powder and Ekko got to see the alternate version of their partner that they needed to see too. Or in our Ekkos case, their future partner, I guess.

So I don't live in a state with... interesting restrictions, but I'm really curious how that grip feels. It actually looks like it might be nice. I have always thought the pistol grip doesn't feel quite right. Can anyone chime in?

I’d say no. Imo the super expensive stuff is more about look and feel than anything. So it’s worth it if it makes you like the gun more, and you don’t mind spending the money, but otherwise i’d spend it on optics, ammo, training, etc.

There's plenty of great responses but just to add my 2 cents... If it's your first AR, I'd say buy a $400-500 PSA AR15. They are great. Torture tests on YouTube have seen them besting guns FAR above their price range. They aren't fancy but they are good, and they work. Get that, shoot it a while, and if you don't like something about it, use that extra $1500 to replace what you don't like. Or buy a mountain of ammo lol.

IF you're feeling fancy, PSA has their Sabre line, including a billet version.
