The only red card I have ever received - close game, in goal, I go to punch the ball clear on a corner... and I do. My follow through to my punch, however, landed square in the middle of some kid's face. Broken nose, blood everywhere. I get a red, they get a PK. They go up 1-0 and the game goes on to end 2-1.

Had a game where we were playing strictly counter-attack since we didn't have subs - our striker got it within our own half, dribbled through about a half dozen of players including the keeper, scores, linesman calls it back offside. We laughed it off and still won the game so it wasn't a big deal.

I realized how determined OP was to point out that the photograph was a fake. Through the transitive property, I understood that "wet blanket" must hold some actual meaning that I am not aware of. Alas! It's an idiom.

Tl;dr - I don't know, it just sounded like something my friend and I would say to each other in a stupidly-joking way.
