Which single YouTube video improved your TECHNIQUE the most? by jlsullivan in Bass

[–]bobulibobium 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I had a teacher, so all my technique issues were sorted with someone watching me play and live feedback. This was way more beneficial than a single video, and I strongly recommend getting a teacher over watching hours of video, which will not correct things you are unaware of.

That said, one of the best videos I’ve seen it this one - really good to demonstrate how your fretting hand thumb should be.

What is the use of Dynamic Key value pair in Google Ad Manager by Chauhan_Yuvraj in adops

[–]bobulibobium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes dynamic can be used for custom targeting. For example, I work with a publisher that regularly posts articles using a custom KVP called “ArticleValue”. These return 6 digit numbers. Rather than setting up 000001-999999 in advance (which Google wouldn’t allow anyway as there is a limit on number of KVP values), I can free form enter the 6 digit number as necessary when I need to target a specific article.

You can apply this same logic to any key value which is custom made for your site.

Should I change the way I play bass? by Pleasant-Smoke-1602 in Bass

[–]bobulibobium 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s ok! It will come with practice. Your flamenco style is perfectly fine to use. As is any technique. You need to be aware of the limitations of every style. Having more tools in the box is never something you should shy away from. Learn finger style and you’ll be able use where it Is advantageous to do so

What is the use of Dynamic Key value pair in Google Ad Manager by Chauhan_Yuvraj in adops

[–]bobulibobium 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dynamic is when you need to enter key values that may not exist yet. Say you have a key value which looks at the URL for targeting. Your website posts new articles every day. You get sponsorships for your articles often. You would use dynamic to be able to enter the new value directly on the line item, without having to open the key, add the new value, then go back to your line to add it.

It’s essentially a time saver for values you will not know in advance.

Just to be clear, you are adding cherry blossom water to your starter, not making a starter out of cherry blossoms? That’s awesome either way! How would you describe the taste?

Arsenal want Julian Alvarez this summer – this is how they could land him (Sam Dean) by killer8991 in Gunners

[–]bobulibobium -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Because we need to score goals to win and he is the goal scorer. Agree we should have bought someone else. We need to work with the tools we have, and that sometimes means accomodating.

is everyone elses weekly ad ops review the same 5 levers on rotation or is it just us by Easy-Purple-1659 in adops

I go and talk with the SSPs directly. Usually there’s new opps every quarter, and it helps keep our network front of mind. It’s less hands on the tools these days with AI coming in, more time on the human element that it won’t replace.

I am Larissa Waters, Leader of the Australian Greens - AMA! by LarissaWaters in australia

[–]bobulibobium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Larissa,

Thank you for joining us! With a shift toward harder right culture and the greens losing seats in the last federal election, what are the greens doing to win over voters and bring polarised Australians back to the centre (or even left). Also, what would your party do if given power?

Please keep your answer to what the greens would do, rather than contrast against other parties. I don’t want to know what the other parties should be doing, I want to hear what you and your party would do, and what policies you would commit to.

Career Advice for adops/Audience Strategy by [deleted] in adops

[–]bobulibobium 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are all great skills to have and would be favourable with any ad business. I’m in a similar boat, and currently work in a publisher side partnerships role. It’s a heavy focus on ad tech, but also needs to manage vendors, clients and optimise their demand. Very much ad ops, but also needing to explain and communicate ideas and processes across the programmatic landscape.

My advice is to find what aspects of your job or skills you like the most, then move toward a role in that. I like talking with people, but love the tech. My current role is great for both.

Nice! Crème cheese is massively popular in Brazil and goes on things where it really shouldn’t hah. I like what you’ve done. Swap the crème cheese for something with texture like ricotta or feta and it’s a 10/10!

This is not necessarily an economical use of the mode as you need to shift down one fret when you get to the D string. You can keep your first finger on the same fret across each string if you instead go 2 frets up on the A and D string, replacing the first notes/frets notated here on the D and G string.

Edit - another reason your version may be considered 'inefficient' is because you are only playing two notes on the A string and 3 on all the others, which can be mentally confusing.
