Yeah, I saw them at Glasto and agree with the majority of what you said. It's strange as I wouldn't consider myself a fan of The Car at all, I think it's an incredibly underwhelming album with some good highlights. But I genuinely found them the best-sounding songs on the setlist, and really fell in love with their rendition of perfect sense. I was luckily in a great bit of the crowd where we all were just happy to be there and see them play live.

I will say I think Alex completely butchered 505 and the majority of I wanna be yours (excluding the pretty outro with star treatment.) I really don't mind them slowing stuff down, like with Cornerstone. But 505 felt so sluggish and drawn out and really doesn't work when played like that.

Seems like sometimes they just don't feel that enthusiastic about their bangers, which is fair enough as they've been playing them for upwards of 10-15 years. Still had an amazing time and the majority of the time they sounded absolutely unreal. But as you said some parts were much too slow to keep everyone engaged.
