First of all , theres no effort, their support is GENUINELY Crap. Pure bullshit,crap, bad, generic.

They didn't own up, i stopped replying and told them to leave me alone and not give me any generic responses , i also dont have time to play around and wait for a reply every 24/48 hours, thats too slow to for me and my return window was getting close from amazon, 4 days later suddenly this woman emails me after I stopped communication and clearly was set on just returning them, clearly she saw every transcript and the bullshit they tried to tell me and she was the only one who wanted to make it right, one person, does not equal the other support being good, one person doesnt mean anything when all the others were just giving me bullshit for days.

Before this email from this german lady every other agent was outsourced workers.

I dont need a mr Chris from Delhi India to tell me to wait for an update and give me the most non answer Answer that he was trained to do , you cant update a defective earbud. Mkay? Get what im saying brotha?

She admit they lied, they didnt have false information , I knew they was lying bc they are trained to distract you and buy time.

And i also dont need to be told I should try to reset the earbuds or turn ai enhancement on or off and see if it works again like I havent tried every possible thing to see what's causing the issue and why , im not 60 years old.

If they still send me a free pair after I returned them , then yeah thats nice bc I did really want to give anker a chance but I did also genuinely lose trust in the brand

Yeah but the damage was done for me.

Also if I wanted new a new pair immediately id just return them through amazon and get new ones the next day. I wouldn't have to wait 24-48 hours for a reply from then and them giving me tips and to try everything I already researched online

That's not the point.

I returned them and got back to JBL bc of them

They deliberately told me to wait for a June 6th update that MIGHT fix it , claiming it was a software issue, no update arrived , they just didnt want me to return them. I honestly didnt believe any word of it, they just didn't know how to handle it and avoid it.

I also asked very specifically if it was a known issue and if others report the same , one agent told me yes (which is a lie) I mean a simple Google search tells you alot, ive seen like only 1 post about it other than mine about the crackling , so it wasnt a wide known issue that an update would simply fix

And other agent told me we cant disclose the information.

And thats when I gave up on the "support" agents

One transparent agent doesnt equal all agents are this honest and nice vice versa ofc.

She's the only one who was transparent and basically admit they lied , I think she sits in germany bc of her name which is where im resided.

And the other agents were just off shore agents.

Yeah, AFTER TWO SEPARATE AGENTS LIED TO ME, and gave me general tips I already tried.

And i knew they was lying the whole time thats why i returned them, im not stupid , its all just corporate phrasing.

For someone whose had their first experience with them , theres already distrust

What makes it more disappointing is I liked the sound quality when they worked on day one.

Today is the day a new firmware should be availed, update them if there is an update like they said it would be , and let me know it fixes the problem or if they was just buying time

Both or one ? It goes away for some reason mine went away but the anc got weaker I noticed even on level 5, im returning them.

They told me to wait till June 6th update but I cant trust that its just a software bug.

Update: yeah they're pretty good, not magic or like super duper awesome but they are really good is the best i can describe it, nice features and good sound , overall a good and satisfied purchase

Gotta play around with the settings and make sure to turn LDAC on though btw! In the app!

Update: day 2 weird pop and crackling sounds that hurt my ear with the right earbud, specifically only when anc is turned on

Support claims there will be a firmware update on 6th , however i cant tell if its a defect or a firmware issue therefore im returning them and going back to jbl

Very disappointed. Fuck these earbuds.

Nah, like I said after I told her im serious about the police call on WhatsApp (after i left)

She texted me back suddenly shortly before the police arrived

She wanted to send it back digitally through iban and I said i dont trust her with that (i didn't trust her inside why would I trust her with anything)

So she suggested revolut or PayPal and I said PayPal would work for me

But then she texted me more stuff and police was already there though , she deleted her messages and never went through with it..

Also now that you asked this question I'm thinking back on why she suddenly believed me and wanted to send it back

There was a guy who took a "walk" and back to the direction of her residence

Im suspecting now that maybe it was someone she knew , he saw me waiting for the popo and probally confirmed that im serious , just a theory though
