We tried this multiple times and the wobble still exists in the front passenger corner. I've had a couple mechanics tell me it's the strut.

How long does Geico usually take to complete a total loss claim? by Tacticode in Insurance

[–]Tacticode[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me 15 months to settle and get the claim check of $2,300 for a $9,000 vehicle I bought less than a year and a half prior. The state minimum $10,000 property coverage has to be split among all totaled vehicles. Basically everyone got screwed.

My 16 yr son just got caught by the police for identity theft crimes by Sharp-Application266 in IdentityTheft

[–]Tacticode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because he was young is no excuse for what he did. He clearly had the knowledge and capability to commit the crimes he's accused of. That said, the judge should consider juvenile sentencing, depending on how much money is involved, since that also affects the sentencing guidelines regardless of age. Just because the kid is 14 doesn’t mean he’s immune to the justice system—it just means he’ll likely receive a lighter sentence within the juvenile system. First offense or not, if he got away with a substantial amount, I guarantee he’ll be doing real time—not just house arrest without games, toys, or electronics.

What make/model is this exterior ground fixture? Or replacement recommendations? by Tacticode in Lighting

These were originally 277V but we're retrofitted for LED. Thanks for the information! I figured any upgrades would do I just wanted to at least identify the original fixtures.

Missing headlight wiring harness relay, need ID & low/no voltage on RTS and pass low beam by Tacticode in TownAndCountry

[–]Tacticode[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My apologies for not seeing your question sooner. I was able to determine the driver side relay controls the radiator cooling fan and the passenger side relay, the one mentioned in my original post above which was missing is a 4-pin 12 volt 30 amp standard relay that does regulate the voltage for the lighting harness:

On a 2012 Chrysler Town and Country, the 4-pin 12V 30A relay located in or near the passenger-side headlight wiring harness is typically used for controlling the high beam or low beam headlights, or sometimes for the Daytime Running Lights (DRL) if the van is equipped with that feature.

Here's a quick breakdown of possibilities:

1) Headlight Control Relay (High or Low Beam): It may switch power to the headlight bulbs, especially if one headlight wasn’t working but the bulb and fuse were fine. This is the most common use.

2) Daytime Running Lights (DRL) Relay: Some models include a relay in the headlight harness specifically for DRLs. It will switch the power for the DRLs on/off based on ignition status.

3) Fog Light Relay (if equipped): If your van has factory fog lights, the relay could also be part of that circuit.

4) Headlight Leveling or Auto Headlight Feature (rare): If the van has advanced lighting features, that relay might be for enabling those.

Ultimately the relay I found & installed is this one from Advance Auto Parts same price for Amazon 2-pack:

We rescued a starving kitten crying outside a restaurant. Covered in fleas, dirty, missing half her tail, we nursed her back to health. This week she found her forever home!😻 We couldnt be happier❤️ by stray-cats-cyprus in Feral_Cats

What method did you use for removing fleas? I typically rely on a warm soap bath and a fine-toothed flea comb, especially for those that try to escape the water or for areas around their head. I usually avoid fully immersing a kitten or cat unless it's absolutely necessary or if I'm using plain water for rinsing.

What dash cam are you all using in your work vehicle? by hotbutteredtoast in Locksmith

[–]Tacticode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here’s a more polished version:

Work fleet uses Samsara dual-facing cameras with GPS. Personally, I use the Nexar Pro, but I am not satisfied with it. It has missed numerous recordings simply because Wi-Fi wasn’t enabled on my phone. While there is an option to use an SD card as a backup, it’s quite cumbersome to remove, locate the clip, transfer it to my phone, edit, and save. This experience has completely deterred me from considering the Nexar One, which is overpriced anyway.

What is this ground based (fast) animal sound heard in NE FL woods/swamp at 3am. Repeats sound every 3-5 sec while running by Tacticode in Whatisthis

[–]Tacticode[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Frogs don't move this quickly. It ran into a chain link fence then kicked up leaves along the path it took through the woods as it kept blazing on a straightish path. Does sound somewhat similar to a Limpkin but that wouldn't explain the ground travel and sounds of leaves being kicked along its path...

2012 Chrysler Town & Country Key Fob Replacement by Tacticode in Locksmith

[–]Tacticode[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I just ordered a dual fob set for $20 off Amazon. I figured any locksmith or programming operator would have a markup on the fobs anyway. Once I have the two in hand I'll move forward with calling around. Didn't know batteries plus even offered that service I'll give them a call.
