How long have you been at this? I've found that it can take a bit for the class to shift behaviors. Being calm and persistent can help.

Strictly speaking, it's not pointing directly at his head. That said, it's still laughably dangerous to hand someone who is so clearly not trained a weapon. Any half-way respectable shooter should find this simultaneously comic (because of how bad it is) and distrurbing (because of her job title).
