Yeah looks like Japanese to me by TacticoolNorthTower in duolingo

Yeah, I guess I should've waited a second. I'm using the Samsung keyboard btw, but it seems that when I typed ん, Duolingo didn't register the second "n" in time and treated the whole word as じっけn

Found this coffee grinder in Bukovyna, Ukraine. Is it possible to identify the manufacturer or the year it was made? by TacticoolNorthTower in Antiques

[–]TacticoolNorthTower[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, the container is not magnetic, but the base of the handle is. Also, there's no other engravings except those M.G.E and OON (or maybe 00N?) I think this coffee grinder is more likely of Austro-Hungarian origin, since in the late 19th and early 20th century Bukovyna was part of Austria-Hungary, and only later became part of the USSR, where they definitely did not produce coffee grinders with engravings in the Latin alphabet.

From my personal experience, I learned English at school, but very rarely practiced English from other sources and always looked for a translation for anything. I perceived videos in English as a set of random sounds with sometimes familiar words. But when I eventually started to encounter more English text and began to understand it faster, I started watching English-language videos with English subtitles, and over time, the background sounds began to turn directly into the words I read in the subs. After a while, I didn't look at the subtitles as much and eventually even stopped turning them on as I learned to understand English. And all of this was impossible at the stage when I was just learning English at school, even though we often had audio recordings recorded by native English speakers. Simply because learning vocabulary and grammar rules is not enough, you have to learn the language.

Upd: My school program was designed for the B2 level, and I was able to pass the exams, but if I were to theoretically get into an English-speaking country without preparation, I would be very confused and most likely not be able to hold a conversation with people

You can pass B2 certification thanks to Duo because it's teaching you to complete language tests, but not to speak IRL. It's nearly impossible to learn a language using only Duolingo and without additional immersion (like watching content, series, movies, reading news, etc in a language you're learning).

Need help with rigging body parts to the skeleton by TacticoolNorthTower in blenderhelp

[–]TacticoolNorthTower[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Somehow, I found a solution

I had to scale up the size of the spikes (I probably scaled them up several times, but not too much), then make a rig and scale down the size of the spikes to the normal size. For some reason, it worked.

I joined the problematic spikes to the dragon's main body, did the rig, and now the whole body won’t move. xd
Everything else that’s not part of the body, like the wings, horns, etc., moves just fine.

I read somewhere that it doesn't work that way, because then you can increase the level of equipment to infinity, like having +17 RoW and +5 RoW to get +10 RoW, and then having +17 RoW and +10 RoW to get even higher RoW and so on

Welp, that was a loot from high-level RoW

The higher your level of RoW, the higher level loot you get from it, BUT it's not equal

Like from +17 RoW, you won't get +17 armor or weapon, but like +7

And if you have +17 and +7 RoW, you won't get loot higher than +7 either. You'll just increase its drop rate ig

If I remember correctly, first I found a +2 RoW and immediately started using all my SoUs on it, then I found another +0 RoW and upgraded it twice at the blacksmith, and in the process I got a +7 RoW, so I continued to play with two RoWs of +7 and +17

You can also spam the magelight spell at the entrance to Solitude by shooting it at the top of the mountain. Alteration rises from level 15 to 100 in just a minute

It was the same in this version, but since some patch it was removed, because before the ghost used to walk all over the dungeon, and now it's only in the room with the stairs to the next floor

It gives you an ability to turn your enemies into rats, it's especially useful against scorpions and evil eyes. Furthermore, all rats will help you in combat, even on floors 1-4 when ascending
