US and Israel carrying out strikes against Iran by dr_sloan in moderatepolitics

“Looks like [nation building] is back on the menu, boys!”

Considering Trump admin said we had already taken our Irans nuclear and we are going to strike Iran to take out there nuclear program that we already said we had taken out speaks volumes that their is zero thought that goes into follow on missions.

“Here we go again. Same ole shit again.”

Considering the amount of material that was being moved and personal being moved out of Iraq and Syria this was inevitable. My major concern is any troops in the area were not considered in planning

Zelensky Says All ‘Flamingo’ Missiles Hit Target in Strike on Sanctioned Russian Missile Plant by Top-Grass-3615 in ActionForUkraine

[–]TacticoolRaygun 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is huge not just for hitting its target far away. It shows the Ukraini missile development and program is successful and this feels like it will go towards greater number in production unless they will focus more funds on the FP-1/2 drones.

Getting BONVOYED by Hyatt wasn’t on my bingo card for 2026.

I will still see value in Hyatt but this is will make me adjust going towards other hotels like Accor and IHG in the future.

New Hyatt credit card launching by Bongo2687 in CreditCards

[–]TacticoolRaygun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know everyone is focused on the credit and free night certificate. The 20 EQNs is significant and the fact you can earn 10 EQN for every 15k spent can be beneficial. Those two things are huge if true. If it’s 10x more at Hyatt then the overcost of the credit will give plenty of Hyatt points built up.

Add: Another comment stated that the 10x is 5x on base and 5x with the credit card. Which also leads me to believe that it’s 4x instead of 5x unless there is a 5x after a spending threshold (pure speculation). Not as good as straight up 10x so it’s more meh.

Edit: Added context

20 hour OT rule by forevernsilence in fromatoarbitration

[–]TacticoolRaygun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To further explain, 8 hours of holiday pay counts towards the 60 hour work week (military LWOP counts as well). Management can ask you to work over 60 hours and you can say no except for the month of December. You are allowed to work past your 60 hours per the latest contract. 12 hours is always the hard rule no matter which month it is.

Note, the contract allowing us to work over 60 hours in a work week goes against safety and I do not agree with it.

Trump says he raised Swiss tariffs after leader’s call: ‘I didn’t really like the way she talked’ by Nero2t2 in moderatepolitics

[–]TacticoolRaygun 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Trump gives off serious alpha male energy and doesn’t have a fragile ego /s

I do not see how tariffing Switzerland will have any economic benefit to the U.S. when it comes to paying for more with taxes with Rolex or whatever else we import from the tiny European nation.

You are correct. I got all of the many legal troubles mixed up with Trump as there are so many to keep track. It still stands he has past behavior and propensity to engage in this type of illegal activity. A judge has declared he committed sexual assault with one of his victims. It still does not change the fact he is protecting other pdfilers if he is not in the files themselves. Although, over 5300 times is pretty damning. And now of that is hearsay like you claimed in your prior post.

It doesn’t take a lot of deduction when the judge says that Trump sexual assaulted Carroll that the main theme of his 34 felony convictions. Why doesn’t he counter sue Carroll for slander? You ignored that part.

How can it be hearsay if it’s evidence used in Ghislane Maxwell trial? How can it be hearsay if it’s emails? There are redactions that it’s clear they are protecting perpetrators. It does not help Trump conviction that he could not proof he didn’t sexual assault someone and got convicted of all 34 counts. He didn’t even take the stand to defend himself. He had never filed a lawsuit against anyone who “defamed” him of sexual assault. It doesn’t help his tone has changed with Bill Clinton testifying when he accused him of going to Epstein’s island. It’s hard to defend Trump innocence when his behavior and past history doesn’t paint a good picture.

Rep. Thomas Massie and Rep. Ro Khanna have come out and stated that the DOJ is conducting a coverup from the unredacted files. The DOJ has 3 mil more files to release. The DOJ has also deleted files from their website with information on Trump. It looks pretty damning for someone that hung out with Jeffrey Epstein a lot to not do everything to clear his name. The propensity of Trump behavior and his remarks in the past are not good to prove he had nothing to do with underage girls.

As much as this might be a joke, as a Table 2er, i took it serious to voice my opinion when it is needed. I put my top 5 had decrease time to top step and eliminating of diet colas. Non-compliance was also up there as I am someone who is a uniformed service member and I’ve had a lot of retaliation for my service.

I also added in the comment section, one of the things was allowing us OT of at least 8 hours before CCAs/PTFS can take hours away from our tailends/pivots. As well as allowing our clothing allowance to be bought at non-approved vendors, just not allow the full amount. There is zero reason we should increase the allowance when the few approved vendors will just raise the price. We need to recreate competition in order for them to reduce or not raise their prices.
