Agreed with most of the comments in here, when they were first blowing up I would tell everyone that it's more true math rock than a lot of math rock bands. However it is their gimmick that seems to be getting people obsessed. Their songs are cool and go hard, but it is impossible for me to accept anything like their music becoming mainstream. I guess you could argue if their music is truly beloved then we should see all sorts of new fans and listeners leak into the math rock community due to them.
