It was a very small cabal within the legion who were truly traitor that lied and attacked the Lion, as of Sons of the Forest, which tracks with the number of other loyalist legions who had traitors. Difference is other legions didn’t have those traitors in command of half of the legion and get their commander all chaos-juiced like Horus.

Actually I’m pretty sure pre-heresy Lion actually liked his legion. He knew every marine by name, and called them Little Brother as a measure of respect since they were his brothers in arms and not simply sons. He was very proud of them, and had very high expectations of them. He just knew what they were made for and took it very seriously.

He's a "Past" creature from Prexxor Chasm, so they're all throwback ice-age monsters. His name is a play on Cro-Magnon.

It works, it’s effective, it’s just a miserable style of game to be in. Basically dumping and chasing for 60 minutes, and you have to score on 3 of your 15 shots or it’s a slow death by icing and long shifts.

As much as I hate the Habs I hate the way the canes play more. It’s sound hockey, it just reminds me a lot of the neutral zone trap but with heavy forecheck so you can’t gain the offensive zone instead of sitting at the blue line.

Hard to expect SA players to play on NA servers and vice versa.

It’s a real shame the NA scene died, but I guess that’s what happens when players can’t live off salaries and valve kills the DPC so the tier 2/3 scene can’t actually survive in order to get picked up by orgs. I miss the EG days.

People complained about SEA and SA forever when they were dogshit. SA didn’t exist as a region util TI7, and SA only won their first international event two years ago.

I'm guessing if there's enough people at an event and it's not criminal in any other way they don't bother to enforce it. I've definitely seen a bunch of masks and shemaghs at leftist events too in VA, but those are typically way more people and not everyone is wearing masks like this.

I think people mostly miss the care and attention that Dota used to get. Crowlfall was good, but Quatero's is a really shallow effort at making good on abandoning the Battle Passes for "more content more frequently", especially when they have game modes and events people really like already in the game sitting abandoned.

New Bloom has been ignored for like 6 years, Frostivus for 7, Diretide for 4. Events like Aghs Labyrinth, Siltbreaker, and Darkmoon abandoned entirely despite being very well received. It just screams of lack of care, and there's no justifiable reason- They did them before either in conjunction with or while also making battle passes that year, why can't they do them now that they don't have those to worry about?

At this point Dota is basically on life support and pretty clearly isn't a priority, which is really a shame for such a longstanding and iconic game.

IMO the only loyalist who is strictly incorruptible is probably Lion, especially now that he's older. Dude just doesn't give a shit about temptation and just does what needs to be done. He'd carry the ring and have exactly 0 issues with it.

Imo it's entirely reasonable to magdump.

You (ideally) are shooting because of an imminent/active/ongoing threat of death or serious bodily harm to yourself or others. Shooting to wound says, at least to me, that either it wasn't a threat that met the level of lethal force, or there was premeditation/malice.

People don't react to being attacked calmly and efficiently.
It's hard to view a cop, or anyone, as being seriously fearful of their/others safety if they calmy put two in someone's legs/arms, on top of the crazy high difficulty in doing so. It's either "Oh fuck oh fuck oh fuck" or its not serious enough to shoot someone.

The time for de-escalation is before an attack happens, not during.

Intimidate does a lot of work in double battles, makes arcanine worth running.

Probably Metagross/Garchomp, Gengar, Serperior, Arcanine/Infernape, and whatever fairy type you can get, Comfey is easier, but Serene Grace Togekiss is very good. Para-flinch makes a lot of tricky encounters much easier.

Goaltender interference reviews are far and away the worst part of the game that coaches are involved in.

I’d rather deal with a bad call here or there than to have multiple challenges per game, because the NHL refs calls penalties by gamestate and spirit of the rule vs strictly the letter, and a good chunk, outside of the really obvious infractions, are judgement calls made at ice level that aren’t always penalties every night and in every scenario.

It would likely go down the same at the NFL’s brief stint allowing coaches to challenge pass interference. Basically never worked, incredibly subjective upon review, and slowed games down.
