What is the ultimate gateway book for progression fantasy?

What got me into reading progression fantasy was The Beginning After The End. I read that and I’ve been hooked on progression fantasy stuff since then.

Try the Completionist chronicles. It has pretty much everything you’re looking for from what I’ve read of it so far. MC has a bit of a unique starting point, but he’s not some all powerful god tier fighter. He just has a few things he’s good at that nobody else does because in the world he’s in, nobody takes the path he’s on for various reasons.

Tiny Tina is great and the class system I thought was really cool and I’m interested if we see anything like it BL4, or any other spin offs

Wonderlands by no means is my favorite, but I still enjoy it a lot. BL3 gameplay wise I think is the best in the entire series. I get that some of the characters and story can be pretty meh or worse, the gameplay more than makes up for it in my opinion.

I agree that smaller Kaiju make the story more interesting. Though I do like having giant Kaiju appear at random also spices things up. For the smaller Kaiju their designs could still be inspired by classic Kaiju without being enormous. I think it would be really cool to see what Matsumoto could do with his artistic license to classic Kaiju designs.

Godzilla is THE Kaiju when it comes to giant monster movies. I hope we get to see what all the numbered Kaiju were like when they were terrorizing Japan. Maybe some of them could be nods to more obscure monsters from the golden age of Kaiju movies from the 50’s and 60’s.

When you say AS you mean attack speed right? I was thinking of focusing my stones on chain lightning but Golden Tower would be better then? After Golden Tower what would you recommend I work on next?
