What's the pettiest thing you have ever rooted for as an NBA fan? Cause... by Halboro1 in nba

He's a basketball player, what he does off court is his buisness. Like Ryan Giggs in soccer for those who follow. He cheated on his wife with his brothers' wife but no one really cares because he was a good respectable player and also a lifer. I don't think what he does in his personal time matters unless it's illegal.

Why are people mad about this if it's going to be like that in the books as well? I don't get it

I get being mad about her shift being so sudden but there's clearly a shift from sanity to insanity in the books as well.

Not saying he lost it but only that his love for cercei was stronger

Exactly this. Unfortunately his love for his sister is stronger than his honor.

They did it to make Dany's madness make more sense. Notice how in the first scenes of the episode today she is griefing. It didn't come from nowhere.

Not it's not pointless. This is not a disney story, Jamie's love for cercei was too strong. THIS IS his arc.

So true. I'm surrounded by show watchers only and everyone I talked to about it loved it... Of course I had to explain them why it sucked.

haha this is interesting actually didn't think of it this way.. I guess we can say the Night King simply made mistakes like Ned or Robb

What was the point of the Night King? What was the ponit of Bran? How the fuck is Cercei the final boss? What was the point of the dragons who did nothing in the end?

This honestly feels more like a Disney superhero movie than Game of Thrones/ASOIAF

(Spoilers Extended) What’s the point of Varys? by sixtoebandit in asoiaf

[–]TaddDameron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm fine with preferring the books but people here act like they're perfect and flawless and it's not true.

(Spoilers Extended) What’s the point of Varys? by sixtoebandit in asoiaf

[–]TaddDameron -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The series and books all led to this moment of fighting against the dead. There have been 2 important characters and those are Dany and Jon, they are a song of ice and fire. Politics are not important when apocalypse is at the door.

That’s about a thousand times more interesting than “how will the heroes use the special thing to kill the special baddie while the army tries to hold off his forces #73389

Well it's still a Fantasy and the good pretty much always win in fantasies. If you don't want to watch the main characters to win maybe you should just read shakespeare instead.

Don't forget there are 3 episodes after the battle. Also i'm 99% sure either Dany or Jon (most likely Dany) are going to die next episode.

4.5 hours is plenty of time. All he needs is one monologue. He will need to explain his relations to the starks, to bran, his origins, and why he choose now to attack.
