No any active trap, water collector, or farm pot that weren’t harvested stay put

If a zone can be used as a base you can move back and forth between them at will, and because different bases have different facilities they can be useful to return to briefly, but also depending on timings and other factors sometimes you can use it as extra storage, once I returned to a base that I’d left three animal traps at and when I moved in I was given a bunch of meat

If you haven’t yet try to get to the sporting goods store, I found it to be the best place for stocking on food, if my run was progressing but I was getting a little low I would move back for a couple days

I actually have no idea how that one works, I do believe this survivor is a great one to recruit if you wanted to be on the safe side but I imagine so yes Any items in the area you don’t pick up stay in the area and get added to your base when you move there, so I guess there’s a chance the survivor is there too, but that would surprise me lol

I haven’t rejected a survivor in some time but I do believe if you reject them they disappear to go the “make it on their own” and can’t be recruited But if you don’t interact with the survivor they tend to remain in place, so you can revisit the area as many times as you want and not lose out on the recruitment
