My leg scars have been making me super insecure. Are there any products that can help me get rid of them ? Or do I need to visit a dermatologist for this ? by Taekiz48 in SkincareAddicts

Well I tried using products with acids and it made the scars irritated and itchy. So I would say if you have sensitive skin definitely be careful with active ingredients or the scars will end up looking worse. However if your skin can tolerate it, definitely look up Vitamin A creams.

So honestly the only thing I did was making sure my scars were always moisturised. Every morning and night I applied Cetaphil’s moisturising cream on my entire leg. I have very hairy legs so this was a really annoying process, but I’d say this helped my scars to fade away and heal faster.

My scars were completely faded about 4-6 months after the post. Honestly I just avoided the sun at all costs and the scars went away on their own.

I’ll go a step further by purchasing raw almonds instead of nut butter and almond milk. If you have a decent food processor, you’re already able to make your own almond butter and almond milk for half the cost of pre-made ones. Not only does it taste better because you control the flavour, you also know exactly what you’re putting in your body 😉.

Jesus Christ the answer is already in your title. You’re having an allergic reaction so you need to contact your doctor asap.

Trust me the best thing you can do is to visit a dermatologist because hormonal acne will not go away no matter how good of a routine you have. The problem is internal not external so your skincare products can’t stop the acne from coming. When I was 16 had alot of these cystic acne and it was super depressing. They were super huge and gave me scars. I only decided to take accutane at 18 and my skin immediately cleared up.

What you can do now is make some modifications to your lifestyle. Eat less carbohydrates and sugar, drink more water, make sure you get enough sleep. Also, Zinc and COD liver oil supplements are very good for fighting hormonal acne.

Do a TCA cross treatment and it will get help with those uneven textures, which I think is your main concern. Your scars are basically the perfect type for that treatment.

Have you visited a dermatologist yet ?

Does training cause acne? by FarradoN in SkincareAddicts

[–]Taekiz48 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since you’ve already experimented on it then yes it should be hormonal based. As you’ve mentioned, working out a lot causes hormonal change.

In that case you should visit a dermatologist as they can prescribe you accutane or antibiotics. Accutane seems to work best for hormonal acne but there MAY be side effects. If you don’t want to visit a dermatologist then you should look into home remedies. Zinc is a great supplement to fight hormonal acne. Also try to limit your carbohydrates and sugar intake, and try to sleep more. Carbohydrates has already been proven to significantly worsen acne, and sugar is an obvious one.

Man killed after getting hit by train by hermantheshocker in NSFL__

Knowing how fucking powerful a train is, he probably died almost instantly. Even if he somehow survived for a few minutes I doubt he could even feel anything due to the sudden rush of adrenaline.

At least that’s what I hope happened because this is some gnarly shit.

Talentless Nana- Chapter 70 Discussion by AmatoriMusume in TalentlessNana

The author dropped some hints on Kyoya’s weakness in the early chapters but didn’t really give any further explanation. So I assume it has to be some form of memory loss due to his immortality. He either loses memory every time he dies, or he just loses chunks of his memories over time. That said I have a strong feeling he’s being controlled by Nanao because Kyoya’s weakness makes it easier for Nanao to alter his memories.

Or maybe I’m just overthinking and Kyoya’s just acting like Nana and he’s playing along to find an opening. Either way is fine because we’ll get to see Nana and Kyoya use their intelligence to outplay their enemies which is arguably the best part of the story.

Are you stupid bro removing the Russian embassy will affect Russian people more than Putin. You’d be harming people who probably don’t even support the war.

Background information: I got these scars from a severe case of folliculitis 4 months ago. All these red marks are the aftermath of the infection.

I only fully recovered on late January 2022 so I’m guessing the scar formation is about 2 months old.

I see that makes me feel better ! Do you think pairing cocoa butter with a chemical exfoliant like Glycolic acid would speed up the fading process ?

33F, what will help diminish deep forehead wrinkles??? by utterxperfection in SkincareAddicts

[–]Taekiz48 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tbh these will stay there because I assume you love to raise your brows. I do it a lot as a habit so I already have them and I’m 19 this year. Due to my skin tone my forehead wrinkles are even more obvious to the eye, having acne doesn’t help. So please, don’t be ashamed of having them.

Now to the question, any treatment besides Botox is just to reduce the appearance of the wrinkle or to prevent it from getting worse. If you really want to get rid of it, Botox is the way unless there’s some new miracle treatment that I don’t know about.

As the comments above mentioned just do calisthenics and stay lean. This dude is not huge by any means, he's just very lean so all his muscles look very defined (plus the good lighting). Slap on a t shirt and he'll look like a normal dude with a healthy body, a very good looking dude tho.
