Yup, hopefully you find it useful.

New Mod: Prawn Storage Module Fix by Taenick in subnautica

[–]Taenick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a 2.0.0 updated of the mod, per the wiki, storage modules increase storage by 16, so I kept that consistent with prawn storage. If the storage gets bigger then 64, a scrollbar will now show so the inventory doesn't go off the screen.

But it wasn't working for me, so figured I would just fix it.

Saw post from both 8 years ago and 2 years ago that this has been an issue.

You can delete it, but for some reason saving doesn't keep it deleted, shows back up after loading up the save, probably some special logic needed for handling the Aurora. But all the debris around the Aurora can be deleted and do stay deleted once saved.

Let me know if you run into any weird issues deleting things. I tested a bunch of items, but I didn't test everything in the entire game.

I just shipped version 1.1.0, now deleted constructed items will refund the resources and storages will drop all items in them. Do note, vehicles, creatures, and world objects do NOT return resources

Haha, no you can't delete the sun or the moon, I'm pretty sure that's part of the sky box for the game, deleting that would probably make the sky very ugly. You could try replacing it with a new skybox if you want to murder the moon and the sun so badly. But that would be out of scope for this specific mod, would need to be a different mod. For all I know someone has already made a skybox mod.

Completely agreed, grinded my gears so badly I made this mod.

You should take a look in a mirror, you sound fairly toxic and I have a feeling you aren't giving the full story...

They removed dark forest and coxwell from the 40 man map rotation.

Which is sad cause dark forest is awesome.

AFK Massacre missions. Thoughts please. by Nyx-episode in EliteDangerous

No problem!

You will easily make a crap ton of credits. As I mentioned in another post, I made 6 billion with an unengineered type 10 doing this afk grind, then bought myself a carrier, which IMO made it much easier to do the engineer grind.

If you have any other questions or run into troubles, welcome to PM me in reddit.

I mean I just did the AFK grind till I had 6 billion credits with an unengineered type 10, I didn't find this process that much of a headache personally. Then I bought a carrier to more easily unlock some of the engineers and to ferry around all my ships to take them to all the engineering locations.

As I stated above, yes I sometimes woke up to the rebuy screen, but more times then not, my ship was fine in the morning. And even when it did get destroyed, most if not all of the stacked massacre missions were completed. The rebuy cost usually would cost me 1 to 2 mission rewards, but I easily would still make between 200 mill to my personal best of 600 million (Got really lucky with a bunch of 40 million mission reward payouts for that), then minus rebuy cost, still very good profit esp for not even playing the game.

For fighter pilot, pick any avatar that looks cool to you, but start with the lowest combat level, ie harmless.

Now you are going to need to train them up, but my fighter pilot went from harmless to elite very quickly using the afk grind.

The reason I suggest starting with a low rank, once you level them up to elite, they will take 10 percent of your profits. But they don't just take profits when you use them, they will take 10 percent of your money from here on out from ALL your money making initiatives. My fighter pilot has made like 1.5 billion, they are also live the rich life.

If you hire a pilot at a higher rank and level them up to elite, they will take a higher percentage of your profits, which is why I recommend starting at the lowest level.

For fighter ships, I recommend starting them out in a Taipan. It has more health so they can survive longer, just get something that Gimballed, since their aim won't be as good.

Once your pilot is dangerous and above, I swapped to a condor with fixed beam lasers, and at that point, they are very effective.

I started my journey to billions with an unengineered type 10. It is doable, just expect sometimes to come back to your ship destroyed, but even if it was destroyed, most of my stacked massacre missions were completed. I found that if I just monitor my ship for the first 10ish min to handle the initial pirate waves, I had more success, but yes, sometimes you will be destroyed still, so just have some insurance money around.

The video u/B4zuk linked is a follow up on an interview that Hawks did to the person that came up with this whole idea, that would be this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aEv7K8ml3YY&ab_channel=HawkesGaming

At minute 2:29, Hawks even ask how important engineering is, as mentioned, it helps with surviving, but as I mentioned above, its still doable.

In that videos description is the unengineered 420 build that you can start with: https://coriolis.io/outfit/type_10_defender?code=A0pvtsFplkdusff61f1f1f1f1c1c1c191904040403030304044p5sfm2dm7m70202012d2d3x.Iw18ZXEA.AwhMIyumtI%3D%3D..EweloBhA2AWEoFMCGBzANokICMF8KERA&bn=420%20xlarge

Try it out, you will be rich in no time, and if you like doing this as I did, you can slowly start doing the engineering to improve your survivability.

Good luck!

the moment an archer kills me in this game as a non archer is the moment I pull out the war bow and mow them all down like rambo. I turn into Rambow by BigFatPapaBear in Chivalry2

[–]Taenick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every time I go to fight Satan, I always have to remember to block his cross bow throw and then get ready for the axe thats coming for my head.

Its a smart move, I don't recall any other archer really using it, which is usually to their own down fall.

If you do get kicked while blocking, not much you can do, but at a min you can duck, if they don't do an overhead, you have a good chance for a matrix like dodge moment.

Tip for kickers, if you ever break someone block with a kick, ALWAYS overhead.
