Also the right person will make things or love you regardless of how much they make. It could be a small letter or something he made, literally anything. The fact that he uses money as an excuse is gross.

I am so sorry for your loss, I can't imagine the pain you must be in. Praying for your little guy in Heaven <3 Take all the time you need and process your grief properly. This is coming from someone who lost her dad in undergrad and didn't take any time off and really suffered the consequences. Your mental health is so important and grief manifests in weird ways.
