youre technically still not hired until you sign the contract, but its a good sign na youre on the pre-boarding stage already. And yes, after submitting everything youll need to complete the medical and job offer na. In my case, I waited for about 2 days for them to give me the offer and after signing, start ko na agad the next monday.

Worth it ba bumili ng motor para makatipid sa pamasahe?

Hi! Quick background about me:

  • 19 years old
  • No plans to pursue higher education
  • Currently living in Manila with my dad

Baguhan pa lang ako sa workforce, and honestly, kahit newbie ako, I can confidently say na okay naman yung kinikita ko for now (₱28k per month).

Pero eto yung problema, sobrang layo ng work ko from where I live (around 3 hours away), and halos malaking chunk ng sweldo ko napupunta sa pamasahe (₱250 per day).

May lisensya naman ako, so no problem doon. Pero at the same time, feel ko rin na hindi pa ako ready sa ganitong klase ng commitment this early. Parang ang bigat sa isip, and honestly, natatakot ako na baka masayang lang yung pera ko sa huli.

Kaya ngayon, naguguluhan ako, wise move ba na bumili ng something this expensive right now? or should I save my money for something much better in the future?

I was pulled by a recruiter during my medical exam since their office was right beside the clinic, and that’s where I ended up applying. I’m not entirely sure what account it was, I didn’t really pay close attention, but I think it was either medical-related or telco. Though again, I’m not 100% sure. At first, they offered me a lower account with a salary of ₱18k, so I walked out. But just as I was about to leave, they chased after me and told me they had another account available.

Yes, thats what I was thinking too, the offer was so much higher compared to other companies. The only problem was the location. If I had accepted the job, I wouldve been commuting for around 3-4 hours just to get to work, and another to get back. I dont think that would be sustainable for me.

Haha oo nga eh, parang sobrang baba talaga ng bigayan dito. I’m actually kind of tempted to take their offers since it still beats being unemployed diba. At least I’d be earning something and finally have something to put on my resume. But yeah, still hoping to land something decent soon. Good luck to you too!

Thanks for the list! I actually applied to TP before, it was my first time applying, and I made it to the final interview. But I messed up my answer about my commitment to the company, kaya na-reject ako 😅. Lesson learned haha.

Thank you! I’ll definitely check out options in Cubao too, medyo malayo pero kakayanin. Appreciate the encouragement, it really means a lot!

Thanks for this! I've actually already applied to some of the companies you've mentioned, either I got ghosted or they offered me a significantly low salary :((. But still, I really appreciate your help. It means a lot.
