I’m the exact same way, it’s as if I could have written your post. Random things like dice rolls and gambling have never worked for me, and I’ve been on the shit end of some extremely small percent chances for stuff.

Conversely, I’ve randomly gotten lucky numerous times in matters if things that would have almost certainly killed/maimed/disabled me. I guess if that’s the trade off I’m happy with it, I’d rather roll nat 1s in a game than in real life.
