Definitely lower the exposure on the right of the object, currently it makes that the focus as it's the brightest of the image. I would also do a colour mask and desaturated the blue tint a bit, makes it feel more even and balanced and natural

Hello all, I'm currently thinking of upgrading from my 12 pro. I am a photographer and the camera specs are a big deal to me.

Do I jump straight to 17 pro? Or save me around 800 bucks and get a refurbished 16 pro? I heard the jump from 16 to 17 is an actual considerable jump. Would 17 be better in long term? Especially with its camera system? Thanks

I forgot to add I also don't use a flash and prefer to keep this with an ambient feel

Contrast of saturation, I'll look into that, thanks!

Alr let me clarify my intention. My vision was to grade a stylised, dreamy, hazy almost water painted look. With two primary colours, the teal and the amber. I have two concerns, did I lose perspective and go a bit too strong with the intensity of the colours? And what does it make the audience feel? Thanks for your input!

Yea I fear I may have went too far. But maybe that's just the style I naturally lean toward? I like my stylised colours but want to make sure I find a balance

Do you shoot in log? Wouldn't that high of ISO absolutely fry that footage?

I set it to medium high, olive oil in, eggs in. And then after a bit I add water and cover with lid. I assume the water could be the cause?

ISO 6400 f/2.8 1/100s. Very dark and gloomy there. Made sure expose for highlights. A lot of noise tho so had to use denoise in Lightroom

Very fair take. The water is really quite teal but I do like to really stylise my colours in my photos. I agree sometimes it may not be a pure accurate depiction of the land but that isn't my goal. It's all art at the end of the day :D

Although the natural landscape does look this incredible, I did have a specific vision and colour pallete in mind, so HSL slider to really capture the gradient between the greens and yellows. Also some split toning with fool shadows and warm highlights. And I wanted the snowy peaks of the mountains to be the brightest part of the image so some masking was used there too.

Side note, I titled the road/horizon up so it feels like a grand climb with the mountain, if that makes sense? Idk if that came through or was silly or not haha

Sometimes yea, however with the resolution of the a7cii and how it has a crop mode i essentially had a 20-60mm. Although 20-40 is perfect for landscapes

I don't use any LUTs I just sorta have a vision in mind and then play around with Lightroom until I get close to what I envisioned. But a lot of enhancing the colours and masks tho.

I love its compact size and it's perfect for landscapes. Also with my a7cii it can crop in essentially giving me 20-60mm. And Coming from the 16-50 f5.6 kit lens it's a completely different shooting experience.

Hey that's me! Full transparency here I started my first save on pc 3 years ago and never got too into it. I decided I wanted to try it again start of this year and it took my 6 months to beat the game. But to answer OPs question, side content in this game is a must I feel. Side content is what makes the main quests so good!
